[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two dogs, a black lab-blue heeler & a Black lab- Ridgeback, and they are picky picky picky about the food they will eat. I must say when I opened the back I nearly got trampled for the food. They gobbled the first bowl up in minutes! I love knowing they are happy with the taste, and they are getting the nutrients both need in the bowl. It also helps to know they are eating the bowls dry!

We keep our dogs food stored in an air tight container, the day I dumped our sample bag of Iams into the container our labrador ran right over and started taking bites directly out of the storage container! I promptly filled his food bowl with Iams and he ate the whole thing, where he used to often wait hours. He's loved the Iams since we received it, and I love knowing that it is good for him.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two pups who were in bad shape when we got them of course we found them on Facebook one is a mix of German shepherds and husky she was barely moving around for being 3months and had no muscles since switching to iams she is very active and looks healthy and loves her food the other pup is a lot better to but she was in better shape since switching to iams thanks to bzzagent and me participating both are healthy and happy pups the price isn't to bad either I love how the first ingredient is meat

We have owned Rhodesian Ridgebacks since 1985 .IAMS is the only food we have ever used(puppy and adult) and none of them have ever had any adverse effects from IAMS. We currently have 4 ranging from 90-110 lbs . In fact their coats are silky and smooth, their energy levels are off the chart. Their overall health is fantastic never had to spend money on them except for their annual vaccines ,rabies and neutering and spaying. We also have had three litters and the gyps were feed IAMS puppy food while gestating. The pups were raised on IAMS puppy food until they went to their forever homes. We will continue to be loyal IAMS customers for our precious 4 legged children. Just wish their was a 50 lbs sack available!! Thanks IAMS !!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a bag of Pro-active Health dry dog food for Large Breeds from Iams for my dog to try. My dog is not a picky eater at all and usually likes everything, so I was excited for him to try this food. Unfortunately, it's the only food I've even given him that he wouldn't eat. I think it was the size of the chunks that was a problem for him. He's a 60 pound Catahoula/retriever mix and definitely considered a "large breed", but he really seemed to have trouble chewing this food. I think if the chunk size was smaller, he probably would have enjoyed it.

I feed this to my German Shepherd because it was recommended by the vet as being one of the more affordable but healthier choices. She’s 8 months old and weighs about 60 lbs. she gets fed twice a day and always eats her food as soon as it’s put down so I’d say she likes it. We tried a few different types of kibble before we found on that she wouldn’t turn her nose up at.

Anna absolutely loved IAMS food prior to her death. Unfortunately we lost her a little over a year ago. But before that iams was the only thing she ate since she was a puppy. And I never had any digestive issues and she always maintained clean teeth and a beautiful healthy coat. We know she's the same food to our kitten

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the bag of Iams ProActive Health Adult Large breed arrived, I brought the bag inside and placed it on the floor in the kitchen. I have a 13 year old English Bulldog and a 7 year old Bischon Frise. They immediately walked over to the bag and laid down beside it with their nose facing the bag. I had some things to do before I fed them but they waited right beside the bag until it was time. They both ran outside to where their bowls stay and paced around me while I filled their bowls. They did not hesitate once they started eating and neither of them stopped before they were finished. I was excited that they enjoyed the food. I have always bought Iams for my dogs and now that they are getting older, especially the bulldog, I am glad there is food made for them. I really like that the food is made from chicken and eggs. After feeding my dogs this food for a couple of weeks now, I can tell that my dogs really enjoy their food and I know that they are getting something healthy that maintains strong bones and helps with aching joints.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a huge fan of Iams adult dogfood. I have 2 dogs, 1 of which has a very sensitive stomach. With other big name brands he gets an upset stomach, diarrhea etc but with Iams having so few fillers, he does great and has no problems. My other dog is a medium sized dog so the size of the Large breed bites are a little too big for her but perfect for our lab. I will continue to buy the Iams brand since it is so well for our dogs digestive problems but I will be getting the smaller chunks so that they are both accommodated.

Good as a basic everyday food. I mix in proteins or other specialty foods to supplement with the huge cost. I have a White Shepard 14 months and a 2 year old Kentucky mega-mutt, absolutely the best rescue we have had in 22+ years. Both need a basic good food and then supplement to their breeds and size and pedigree.
