[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It requires me to pretreat most pet stains, because I have light colored carpet. I wish it had a heat button to heat up the water that is left in the tank. I should have purchased the ProHeat product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live and our two furry four legged friends in the NW. We're always exploring the outdoor and of course tracking the outside inside our home. We needed a carpet cleaner and this machine works wonders! It lifts the dirt right out and it's easy to use and so light weight!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cleaned all of our house carpets, 2 chairs and a couch. Worked great on carpets and furniture. Was easy to use and clean, especially being able to get to the brushes for cleaning. Like the fact it keeps water hot and all the accessories included. Would highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use it to clean the carpets in the wake of three children 7-3 and two cats and a dog (One cat and a dog have health issues that leave them somewhat incontinent. So the carpets see much abuse) It is an excellent product that removes the odor and gets it clean 5x better than the last one we had (different brand) with less passes and far lighter weight. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because it goes through the cleaning solution really quickly and a small office sized bedroom takes a full tank and 2/3 to clean it properly. IF it had either a larger tank or was more efficient with its usage I would have given it five stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 2 babies under 2 and a small dog. This is a quick and easy way for me to help clean up the bigger messes in my home! I love the extra attachments and cleaning tray that come with this bundle. This machine exceeded my expectations when it came to cleaning stains! I used this on my carpeted living room that had some hard to release stains and it actually pulled up hair of the previous owner's long haired dog from the carpet!!! I also use it on my microfiber couch (it's very tedious to get all water out and takes a long time to do upholstery.) I find that the regular upholstery tool works way better at getting water out of the couch. The 2-in-1 dog hair tool doesn't work as well, but my dog is extremely short haired and doesn't shed much. (Boston Terrier) I find the cleaning and storage tray is an amazing addition to the accessories for this machine, but it did leak water onto the floor when I followed the instructions. My fix is going to be putting less water than what is recommended for the tray.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this carpet cleaner! No doubt it works as advertised. The cleaning power is second to none. The cleaning formula is pretty good too (although a little expensive and your generous 5-year warranty will be voided if you use a different brand of formula/shampoo). Cons: the water tank is quite small and you'll run out of the formula mix quite fast (3-4 back and forth rundowns on a 15 ft linear pattern) so you might need a whole bottle for 2-3 rooms, depending on how dirty your carpet actually is. Also, it is a little hard to maneuver and the electric cord is not too long. The only way this machine can be any better is if they make it wireless and put a bigger water tank. Buy it now!! (Unless they come up with the wireless one)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This carpet cleaner is just great. I live in an somewhat large apartment in a big city, and the need to clean the bedroom carpets and household rugs is a must. This BISSELL carpet cleaner is a must have for any height traffic household. It really worked fantastically in cleaning our carpeted bedrooms, and living room rugs. It's is far better than the rental rug cleaners, and it's lightweight enough so you can use it fast when the situation calls for it and put it away. It's parts easily disassemble for cleaning in case you need to. The water heating feature is great and the 1 gallery water tank is large enough for a household use.

This replaces my old Bissell ProHeat, which finally gave up the ghost after many years of cleaning the messes of multiple cats. I am in love with my new ProHeat. For starters, it's lighter and very maneuverable, which at my age is a plus. I love the new arrangement of the canisters, which makes them easier to clean and reattach. The attachments are updated. I love the upholstery attachment the most. This machine has impressive suction, too. I have been buying Bissell for a long time, and have always found their machines are reliable and efficient. My cats just wear them out! If you have pets and are in the market for a carpet cleaner, this one is an excellent choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used on my floors and my couches. The difference before and after was quite substantial. Definitely worth every penny! Hot water maintained its heat. Even on max clean it took little time to dry. Just go over an extra one or two times to soak up extra water.

This model came up as the top in reviews and consumer reports, etc. I bought this to replace my old Bissell that gave me great service for 20 years. This new model is so much lighter and easier to move around. Clean up is not only easier, but you can clean all of the parts you couldn't before. I use my new model for regular carpet cleaning and spot cleaning for cat barf stains(which were the first things I tried it out on and it worked perfectly). I'm actually looking forward to using it for room to room bi annual deep cleaning this spring! All the improvements and the cost was actually less than the first one 20 years ago. What a great bargain.
