The unit is heavy (which is understandable when full of water) and is surprisingly noisy when in use, but the results are incredible. The amount of dirt that came out of my carpet was a little shocking but my carpets are like new now.

We have two 7 year old Bassett Hounds that track in mud and shed plenty of hair on Berber carpet. Very much Like how you can visually see it sucking up the grime. As for dislikes, I would like to have a lifting handle on the front of the unit between the upper and lower tanks to make it easier to lift over the dog door threshold.

We have always had good luck with Bissell products, so we bought a brand new one. It is easy to operate, and does a great job getting up pet stains and normal traffic dirt off of the carpeting. I highly recommend this carpet cleaner. It's so much easier than renting a steam cleaner form the store!

I bought this machine to replace my 18-year old Bissell ProHeat carpet cleaner. I really loved that old machine, but it was past its prime and wasn't spraying out solution consistently anymore. I had very low expectations of the newer Bissell carpet cleaners, since my old machine had 10 amps of power and most of the newer models have only around 7 amps. I was really skeptical. But I forged ahead and selected the ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner. At first it was a little awkward since it's quite a bit different from the one I was used to. But after the first couple change-outs of the dirty water and refilling the clean water/solution tank, I was smitten! This machine performs every bit as well as my old one did when it was new way back when. And exceeds it, if I might add! It has amazing power and suction for only 7 amps. Changing out the water bins is a breeze! So simple and quick. The thing I love the most about this new carpet cleaner is how easy it is to pop off the suction cone plastic piece and then pop up the roller brush cover. Boom, there are the rollers easily exposed to clean around them and also clean the collected hair/fuzz from the plastic pieces....completely clean them out! No way did my old Bissell do that. And I think that was a lot of the trouble with it also. I'm really glad I purchased this carpet cleaner. Absolutely no regrets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had new carpet installed 9 months ago, and thinking I could extend the life of my large purchase by taking extra good care of it, I decided to buy the ProHeat 2x Revolution Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner. The carpet didn't look particularly dirty, but boy was I wrong (and equally horrified)! The cleaner is easy to assemble, very straightforward to use, and light enough I could easily carry it up and down the stairs by myself. Overall, great product! Highly recommend!

After years of not owning a carpet cleaning machine, this one cleaned the carpets amazingly. It's easy to use and the best gift for my new puppies frequent accidents. Cleaned carpets that didnt seem so dirty but now the color is shinning again. Very pleased with this product and would highly recommend it for anyone with all types of carpets. The carpets never looked this good after using commercial machines.

I waited a year to purchase this and used the rental carpet scrubbers in the meantime - I couldn't be more happy with the results of the PetPro1986! It cleans just as well as its rentable counterparts, if not better, and it's incredibly easy and fun to use! I'd recommend this product time and again! (I'm not so sure it's going to be easy to share! lol)

And cleaning out the dirty water is super easy! I love how powerful it is and I would 100% buy it again!

Only negative as compared with any older Bissell machine is that I needed to empty water and refill the machine much more often than in the past. This caused me to go through much more of the cleaning solution than I have in the past.
