I couldn't believe how well it worked, how clean it got the carpets, for how easy it was to use. The machine itself is so simple to clean out afterwards. I'm very satisfied withy purchase.

For awhile anyway. My girlfriend recommended this carpet cleaner to me because of having a small dog and am I ever pleased. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum was incredible. We have been in our house for three years and have a large dog. We have a built in vacuum which I thought was pretty good but the Bissel really showed how much dirt and hair remained in the carpet. The hair and dirt that was removed from the carpet was both amazing and disgusting all at the same time. Setting up the vacuum was relatively easy and clean-up was pretty straight forward as well. I would recommend this vacuum to anyone with a pet or young kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did a lot of research on carpet cleaning machines and consistently, this ProHeat 2X Pet Pro was at the top. Pulled the trigger and had the opportunity to use it last weekend with outstanding results. I first vacuum the carpet, then wet the carpet with hot water only. This allows the shampoo to really settle in and do a better job cleaning. Then add more water and shampoo mixture to finish it off. Moving SLOWLY is the key when you're pulling up the water and shampoo mixture. This will yield better results in terms of cleaning and the dryness of the carpet. My only negative comment on the product is the tanks are both very small. If you're doing area rugs or very small rooms it will be fine. If you have more area to cover this means a lot of emptying and refilling. For this reason, I couldn't give it 5 starts but feel like my rating should be about 4.5.

After many hours of investigating I decided upon this one. Glad I did. It seems to be stable and cleans very well. I have bought a lit of Bissell product thru the years and have always been happy.
