With the old shampooer you could still feel sand in the carpet. My new Bissell pick it all up. So much faster and easier then the old shampooer. I read the reviews that said it wqould not pick up pet hair, which is true, but it does pull it up to the top of the carpet where I can pick it up by hand

I researched every brand and model for weeks, and this one was the clear winner. I purchased the floor tool separately and it now cleans every floor in my house!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had my ProHeat 2X® Revolution® Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner for two weeks, but I've had the opportunity to use it twice. One area of carpet is a high traffic area of carpet, complete with very dirty traffic wear marks and pet stains from cat hairballs. I used the ProHeat 2X® Revolution® Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner on the "Max Clean/Deep Clean" setting and the diirt and pet stains were removed the FIRST time. And the carpet dried quickly. I was truly impressed. The carpet is clean and restored. It would be good if the clean and dirty water tanks were larger so there wouldn't be so much stopping. Cleaning time would be significantly reduced. And the machine is a bit noisy. But it really does work as advertised. #sweepstakes

The other one I owned lasted over 10 years but was very bulky and I did not use it as much. I recently purchased this one and I am happy with the ease of cleaning it after use, the lightweight and mostly how powerful it is.

Everything you say about it is true. Cleaning the machine after using it was always a chore to do on all of them. But now it is a wonderful thing. I love my really clean carpet,too. Thanks.

I also liked how much lighter weight it was, and the separate clean/dirty water tanks was also nice. Cons were that I felt like I filled and emptied it much more often than my previous machine, and I don't think the carpets dried any faster. But overall I would buy it again.

I knew my carpet needing cleaning, but wow this cleaner blew my mind of how dirty my carpet actually was. And I never seen it so clean and so white. I had paid lots of $$$ to get my carpet professionally cleaned a year or so back. ANd they brought gigantic machines, they never gotten my carpet as white as it is now after using the Bissel

I thought my other steam cleaner was cleaning (which it was to a point). However, I was completely impressed with how much better this one cleans. The brushes and suction really got up dirt and hair that seemed to be very imbedded into the carpet. In addition, I had high traffic areas that even after cleaning weren't matching the color of the rest of the carpet. The Pro heat really got the dirt out and now it matches. While it is also easier to swap out water etc. I still wish there was one that held a little bit more water so I didn't have to empty it so often, but I love this guy.
