Our old Bissel broke a wheel and we were in need of this. I did a little snooping online and found good reviews for this. My wife loves it! Very easy to use and cleanup is a breeze. Quick tank fills and emptying the dirty tank is so much easier. We love it. This machine also cleans about 10X better than our old Pro heat Bissel

With 4 kids and a dog I regularly carpet clean. This is my first Bissell carpet cleaner and have owned 3 prior name brands. I am very disappointed in the quality of this product. For the price, I expected it to last longer than 6 months. Our carpet is thick Shaw carpet with the pet defense liner so cleaning is a chore. The carpet cleaner with the 2 rollers really gets into the carpet but the water extraction is lack luster. The dirty water in the tank continues to get sucked back up into the clean carpet, the top clean water tank leaks all over while you clean. Doesn't matter how many times I clean all the pieces and reinstall them it's a constant chore. After 1.5 year of owning this hunk of plastic I am already shopping for a new unit.

Thick piles and textured carpets equals no suction without pushing your foot on top of the vacuum brushes. Worst nightmare of a cleaning of carpets ever! Typical, the one accessory needed is not included; it's only available on line! For the price, everything should be included for all floor types.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The water tank is small, so be prepared to fill up many times. Wet the carpet 20 minutes before brush and suck it out (move back and forth to suck all out) for better result. It takes 18-24 hr to completely dry with fan on.

Purchased this product, Bissel PRO HEAT 2x Revolution Pet Pro, instead of renting a Rug Doctor machine or having our carpets professionally cleaned. Our cat had been on the wrong end of a skunk and had walked around the house for only a minute before we caught her but it was to late, the whole house smelled of skunk. I did 5 rooms and a set of stairs and would agree this machine works as well as renting a machine. One complaint I read about was the fact you have to refill the cleaning solution often, but I did not think this a big deal. I had to refill the gallon reservoir 6 times to do my whole house and found it was very easy to do. I kept a bucket nearby to empty the dirty water to save some time. For every gallon of cleaning solution it seemed to extract about a half gallon. I was surprised after the carpets completely dried the next day there was no evidence of the skunk lingering. Worked so well I did the upholstery and carpets in all my vehicles and felt it did a decent job considering there are no rotating brushes on the upholstery nozzle. Cleaning the machine was a very easy to do also. So for the less then the cost of a professional cleaning I was able to eliminate the skunk odor , get all my carpets cleaned, and now I own a carpet cleaner that I can pull out anytime !! Highly recommend to any do- it-yourselfer that wants to save some money in the long run.

Cleaning the machine after use is not my favorite part of using this machine but it is not a difficult job at all. A simple rinse of the parts and I am ready for the next use! I thought the bedroom carpet couldn't be saved, after vacuuming it several times , I Pretreated the carpet and let stand for one hr, then I cleaned the carpet with My Bissell Pet Pro,with Bissell +oxy, taking my time, dont rush, then I went back over the heavy soiled areas with a rinse of plain hot water on the Express clean setting making sure I retrieved as much water as possible, OMG, I am so impressed,

I love the scrubbing action! Excellently designed. The housing of the Foot is very high quality! I'm very impressed.! It self cleans wonderfully. I set mine in the bathtub and I save myself the $$ and get a deeper, more effective cleanup of the machine when I'm finished the job. Machine sprays carpet with a perfectly even steam of hot solution water. I'm impressed with the weight of machine when full., as it is easily manoeuvrable. As empty it's as llight as a feather. You give good user instructions. Only downfall? I had to use my old Hoover to suck up the last of the water after heavy duty cycle. reclaiming 1 cup fluid per 1 square meteraw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine is quite easy to use and clean. It is not light as the advertising says so it is a chore to carry up and down stairs. The brush don't stop spinning at rest so you have to be careful to not let the electrical flex sit under the brushes otherwise it gets shredded :-(, creating quite a safely issue. The hose is not well thought out. Too short to get more than 5 steps up a staircase, but too long to be easy to manage, meaning you have to lug the machine up the stairs with you while using the stair tool with the other hand. The hose is not easy to release from the machine with an unreasonably difficult button to depress at the same time as pulling on the hose. The handle is made from very hard plastic and it becomes uncomfortable after using the machine for a long time. Also my machine has started dropping it's drive belt every 30 minutes. Really irritating to have to stop, and re-attach the belt onto burning hot motor spindle all of the time. Other than that, I suppose it does the job.

We bought a floor model manufactured home after we lost ours in a flood. It was a year old and all sorts of traffic had been through it but we got a great deal so it was well worth it! We also added our own unfortunate spills and pet byproducts to the carpet since moving in. This machine got everything! EVERYTHING! And it did not leave the carpet soaked. I am a true believer in this Bissell product! Thank You Bissell!
