I bought the Bissell Pro Heat 2x Pet Pro after my old Bissell Pro Heat bit the dust. It's been used 3 times and even though it sounds extremely powerful, I was very disappointed in the wetness of my carpet after going over it repeatedly to suck up excess water. With the old Bissell carpet dried in a couple of hours. I expect it will take 8 hours or longer with this one. I just feel that a lot of grime probably stayed in the carpet with the water that didn't come up. Not happy with it at all. My daughter used it on an area rug and results were better than on carpet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum doesn't wash the carpet: It sprays the water, but doesn't collect back a lot. You can't just push spray, you actually have to squick it. It is heavy and not easy to use and on top of that it is very noisy. Wish I made better choice. Not recommend at all.

I understand that I am to use hot tap water, but I was just told by customer support that this model does not actually heat the water or maintain the heat. ProHeat? Really? Please don't advertise this any longer if the actual heating portion was discontinued from the last model. Please stop misleading customers that purchase your product.

I received the BISSELL® ProHeat 2X® Revolution™ Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner from Pinchme in exchange for my honest review. After using it for the last month, I can truly say that it works wonders with pet stains. I have four cats, and they throw up and have accidents on the carpet. Before the Bissell, we would spend hours trying to scrub the carpet clean and then vacuum over it later. Now we can tackle the stains all at once. The CleanShot Pretreater targets and attacks the pesky spots, and the pet urine eliminator and oxy formula are like superheroes working to save our carpet! The wet and dry modes are great variations, and the overall product is very easy to put together and use. It took my husband about 10 minutes to assemble it, and it is light enough for me to use with ease. I am very grateful to have this innovative new product. Thanks Bissell! My kitties are happy and I am too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our Hoover carpet cleaner died this morning (less than 2 years old by the way) so I decided to go with the Bissell as a replacement and I'm happy I did. It outperformed the Hoover and it wasn't even close. We were debating on replacing our carpeting but the Bissell gave it new life and our house smells so fresh now. Awesome product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1st the good: Pulled a lot of dirt out of my well maintained / vacuumed carpet. The bad: 1) The motor smells at startup each time I've used it. 2) Took it in under warranty. It came back and I was told this is normal. 3) The top solution tank leaks out under the purple housing during filling if some of the fluid doesn't get into the fill hole. 4) Both the solution and water pickup tanks are way too small. I spend more time filling and emptying tanks than actually cleaning my carpet. It's a shame, with a couple of minor, and not too expensive changes, this could be a really good product. But as is, I'm disappointed.

I've owned this machine for 7 months, I bought it because I had 3 cats and a new puppy and she was making accidents on the carpet and I needed something on hand at all times because getting a rental machine from the store was just so inconvenient for something that happened quite frequently. My puppy is long potty trained but having this on hand for any spills, vomit or stains from dirty paws from the animals is amazing and I can't imagine my life without this machine now. I owned a previous model Bissell but it wasn't geared towards "pets" and the Bristles got filled with hair entirely and they stopped spinning completely and I didn't know for multiple uses. This machine never clogs for me and the bristles never stop spinning and it lifts hair and dirty with ease, I use it on the entire carpets 2 times a week and have had no issues with lack of performance, I definitely recommend this machine!

The first mess I cleaned up with this was a sticky honey stain my dog made on the carpet after he treated himself while I was out. The SpotBot couldn't get the stickiness out of the carpet but it was no match for this bad boy! Old stains, new stains, barf, pee, set in honey, nothing stands against this on it's maximum setting! It's lower setting does really well on basic stains and cleaning too, which is awesome because that means less formula and water used! The only thing I don't like is that the tank is a little too small to get a whole room in one fill but it's easy to fill so it's not that much of a problem! I've got a separation anxiety riddled baby boy so this steam cleaner is a bit of a life saver when I can't figure out where he went and when I want to just clean the whole place.

Does an excellent job. Easy to use. We have an aged dog that has problems. We also have an aged cat and he leaves us surprises. This unit did the job. We had professionals come in and this had better results. Rooms smell clean and refreshed. The negative and not really that bad. But the tanks are a little smaller then I would like.

The ProHeat 2X® Revolution™ Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner | 1986 has been the best machine I have ever used. It was easy to use lightweight and did an awesome job. I have three dogs so I clean my carpet often. The ProHeat 2X took out stains other machines didn't. I love my ProHeat 2X® Revolution™ Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner
