I love this carpet cleaner! I have two medium sized dogs and our living room has wall to wall carpeting. I had a professional carpet cleaner come out and they did not get out the stains or dog smell. This BISSELL worked much better than the professional. The carpet smells great even a week after using it. The machine is very easy to use and definitely pulls a lot of dirt from the carpet. You can tell by the color of the used water. I used the antibacterial formula which smells great and really cleans! When filled with water the machine can be a little heavy, but is easy to push when using it. It is also very easy to clean after use.

I bought the Pet Pro Heat 2X after reading the reviews and I am thoroughly impressed with the product. I am glad to be able to submit a positive review (for a change) and compliment the design team on the integration of the mechanical and ergonomic features. We have nine cats and my wife has allergies, so I use the machine monthly - should probably use it more frequently. Even though we vacuum frequently, the Pet Pro extracts an amazing amount of embedded hair. The design features allow me to clean the tanks and brush roller assembly very efficiently. This makes the entire process of cleaning extremely efficient. I have owned other carpet cleaning machines - even a couple that were rated very highly - but I can state without reservation the Pet Pro is the absolute best machine I've ever used. Thank you for building a product that lives up to its claims and is also affordably priced.

I am the proud Momma to two HUGE Mastiffs who leave behind even bigger messes! With the ProHeat Revolution Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner, my carpets look new again! This machine was easy to set up and easier to use. The attachments that are provided with each machine are also a cinch to connect and use! I have already recommended it to friends!!!

i just got to try it, and it seems like a great machine that does what it promises. I love the features, especially the easy assembly for quick cleaning of the device and a very courteous design; It's obviously well made, but not so heavy that cleaning is a cumbersome task. Just feels right when you use it! The last owner of our home had fully carpeted bedrooms which had, unfortunately, absorbed the odor of their pets. (For some strange reason, it smelled worse on rainy days!) We were saving up to have the carpet pulled up and replaced, but the ProHeat 2X Revolution did such a great job cleaning and deodorizing that it seems almost unnecessary to do that now. I really like this new carpet cleaner. It is lighter and more streamlined than some older Bissell models. The fun color coding of the different parts is not only more pleasing to look at, it's very helpful too. It makes it easier to identify where they go on the machine and which part to hold when assembling and cleaning. Taking the pieces on and off the machine is also very easy. I especially like the green rollers with purple and white bristles - (vs the old black on black), it's easier to see the dirt to be cleaned out. And the included clean out tool is such a help! The low profile of the cleaning head does make it easier to get under furniture and all the clear acrylic parts let me easily see when the carpet has released all the cleaning fluids as well as the levels in the clean and dirty water tanks. I did have to stop occassionally to clean out some carpet fibers that built-up in the cleaning head though, (my rugs are of very thick wool). I believe that's because this machine does such a good deep down cleaning. Overall, the carpets looked great afterwards. I would recommend that you lay the machine on it's side to completely dry out the insides after cleaning though.

We typically have anywhere from 15 to 25 dogs at any one time that live as a pack in our home and surrounding property. Not all of them are housebroke, and given that they are indoor outdoor dogs, there's dirt. We only have 1 room that has any carpet in it carpet in it and it definitely gets dirty dirty when they are watching TV with us. I couldn't live without this machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As for the main carpet cleaning it is a decent machine, but I wish I used the attachments during the return period because I would be returning! When you attempt to clean with the attachments, say on a hardwood floor while cleaning the stairs, the machine leaks water out of the bottom so most of the solution ends up on the floor causing a mess and potential damage while the attachments do absolutely nothing close to cleaning! Useless if you want to clean anything with attachments.

This broke within the first ten minutes of use. The end of the one of the bristle rolls was vibrating. It got so hot it melted and turned black. I contacted Bissell to let them know about the issue. They immediately sent me a replacement bristle assembly and set of replacement belts to see if that corrected the issue. Received it three days later. Installed it and now it seems to work perfectly. Hopefully I have no further issues. The response to my problem, from Bissell, left me optimistic that is was just a fluke issue and that if I have any further trouble they will set it right.

I'm really happy with my purchase, that the Revolution 2X is so easy to use, is not loud, and does a great job cleaning carpets without the physical pain that another leading carpet cleaner leaves me after use. I'm impressed with all the dirt that this pulls out and found that doing a few extra passes in vacuum mode will pull out more water to aid in faster dry time. The carpet is left clean, soft and refreshed for sure. The dirty water tank needs to be emptied before the clean water tank is used up, but its not an inconvenience. The attachments are well thought and are adaptable to a variety of surfaces and types of stain. Having this cleaner now is so much easier than renting a heavy cleaning unit from a store, lifting it, hauling it back and forth and having hand, arm and shoulder pain for two days after! I'm very pleased with this purchase and look forward to using it each time. People and pets rejoice!

I bought this to replace my old Hoover carpet cleaner, which worked well for over 20 years. This Bissell worked well the 1st time, but after that the machine does not suction the dirty water out of the carpet. It has WAY TOO MANY parts to maintain, and even after cleaning ALL those parts, it still won't suction. Wish I had kept my old machine. Hopefully, customer support will be able to help us.
