Hi Amanda. The ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro has HeatWave Technology. If you put warm water in your machine, this provides a constant source of heat to help maintain water temperature throughout the cleaning process. We recommend filling the clean tank with hot (140°F/60°C MAX) tap water. Hope this helps!
