This is a good budget laptop for college student it has its flaws like the battery doesn't last very long or the keyboard bad past that runs smooth and stays cool

Very happy with the quality and speed for the money. We are usiing it for basic video editing and gaming and is quite adequite without breaking the budget.

The Vivobook F1605VA is a good budget computer. It was easy to set up, has a nice screen and is plenty fast for everyday computing. If you are not a power user this would be a good computer for you. My one complaint is it is a fingerprint magnet. After one day it looked like I had been using it for months with the spots on it. It does not affect the use of it but it is worth noting. My only other complaint is not about the laptoop itself. I was promised a three month extension for a review which I did and it has never been activated. I am trying again but I am not optimistic it will happen. They provide a link to do it on their website and it wants you to pick the product from a list of thousands of products. I typed the model number in the search and this one did not show up. My first review was on the closest one and that my be why it didn't work but why is this one not there. This is not a life or death kind of thing, but it is aggravating to have things promised and either not make them available or make them extremely difficult to obtain.

Worth my purchase. I've been an HP fan fir years.. i mean my HP Beats laptop lasted me for a while. It was always moving slow, too much updates %26 finally it burned out. I know ASUS is another brand i had in mind. im glad i purchased it during pre-black Friday Walmart deal. I love the quality %26 speed. you can add additional storage up to 1tb if you want.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Asus laptops are top rated in their price range. Owned one prior to this purchase. The online order price was great but only for online orders. I was told the store could not honor the discount price on this for an in-store purchase. I think that is a bad policy and puts Walmarts price match program in possible legal binds.

At least at the sale price of about $400 this is a very solid deal with a Chrisp Brite display, comfortable keyboard, accurate touchpad, and best of all with Asus the preloaded windows is fairly clean without needing much junk removal before it's ready for use.

I have always owned a Dell Laptop and Desktop. But my last Dell laptop (although nice) was flimsy and warped over time so it didn't lay flat. Also, I couldn't upgrade it to Windows 11. So, I took a chance with this ASUS that was on sale but had everything I wanted in a new laptop. I wasn't expecting anything great, but wow, they fooled me. This laptop is built very sturdy, is so fast, and transferred all my apps and programs from my old laptop into this new one automatically with just the push of a button (except for the time involved), but for a 72 year old this was a blessing. You cannot go wrong with this beautiful laptop. Thank you ASUS for making this old man happy.

If the requirements are very minimal or occasional browsing, checking emails, it's fine. If the requirements goes beyond and for learning coding etc., this gives up. It's not GenAi enabled chip which we need to keep in mind. For normal usage excellent but for medium and heavy use it's not recommended

This laptop only lasted a short while before the back light went bad.
