I have always owned a Dell Laptop and Desktop. But my last Dell laptop (although nice) was flimsy and warped over time so it didn't lay flat. Also, I couldn't upgrade it to Windows 11. So, I took a chance with this ASUS that was on sale but had everything I wanted in a new laptop. I wasn't expecting anything great, but wow, they fooled me. This laptop is built very sturdy, is so fast, and transferred all my apps and programs from my old laptop into this new one automatically with just the push of a button (except for the time involved), but for a 72 year old this was a blessing. You cannot go wrong with this beautiful laptop. Thank you ASUS for making this old man happy.

I was told the store could not honor the discount price on this for an in-store purchase. I think that is a bad policy and puts Walmarts price match program in possible legal binds.

Worth my purchase. I've been an HP fan fir years.. i mean my HP Beats laptop lasted me for a while. It was always moving slow, too much updates %26 finally it burned out. I know ASUS is another brand i had in mind. im glad i purchased it during pre-black Friday Walmart deal. I love the quality %26 speed. you can add additional storage up to 1tb if you want.

This laptop has a very good screen, the weight is affordable, speed is ok and baterry is also good. The only thing it should be better designed is the keyboard, arrows up/down left/right is too small , the enter key is also small. Those keys are used a lot and they had to know this in advance.

The Vivobook F1605VA is a good budget computer. It was easy to set up, has a nice screen and is plenty fast for everyday computing. If you are not a power user this would be a good computer for you. My one complaint is it is a fingerprint magnet. After one day it looked like I had been using it for months with the spots on it. It does not affect the use of it but it is worth noting. My only other complaint is not about the laptoop itself. I was promised a three month extension for a review which I did and it has never been activated. I am trying again but I am not optimistic it will happen. They provide a link to do it on their website and it wants you to pick the product from a list of thousands of products. I typed the model number in the search and this one did not show up. My first review was on the closest one and that my be why it didn't work but why is this one not there. This is not a life or death kind of thing, but it is aggravating to have things promised and either not make them available or make them extremely difficult to obtain.

I needed a new laptop and after much research, I decided the Asus was the right one. It was so easy to set up, just followed the prompts. I have had the laptop for several months and have been very pleased with the battery life between charges. The keyboard is easy to use. Overall I am very happy with the Asus product.

At least at the sale price of about $400 this is a very solid deal with a Chrisp Brite display, comfortable keyboard, accurate touchpad, and best of all with Asus the preloaded windows is fairly clean without needing much junk removal before it's ready for use.

This is my 4th ASUS notebook I have purchased over 15 years. I am a Mac guy, but keep a Winbook around for various purposes. This was the best out of box: fast, sharp display (matte finish screen), little "bloatware", decent trackpad with Touch ID, good (Numeric!) keypad. Easy setup, although give it a day or two to apply all the initial software updates. (A lot of you have to update this before that-but that is Windows) But, overall, painless. Great value and machine is fast. My only gripes are that the finish is prone to smudging and the indicator lights are on the side. That is nitpicking. This is a solid machine at a great price. I'm glad I went with ASUS again.

I have my desk where I put my laptop, it hasn't fallen, it hasn't been hit, I haven't had a minute where it's asking me for an update and when I turn it back on one side of the screen doesn't turn on. I'm asking you to change it for me.
