I picked up a bag of the Iams for my large older dog, he's a picky eater. He was not very thrilled with the iams. He usually eats fresh meat and such, so I was not entirely shocked when he would turn his nose up at the food. For one who isn't so spoiled, it'd probably work better but for my old dog it wasn't a good fit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually Peaches just looks at her food and looks at me , like I'm not eating that.....but after a sniff and a lick she's in love....As soon as we are done with her morning walk she is ready for her Iams ProActive Health..She really seems to be enjoying it, usually with her old food she ate a few bites and then just waited to see what we were going to eat..Had no problem switching out the old food for the Iams Proactive Health...very happy that she is enjoying this food and getting all her essential nutrients... So glad we got to try this product, will be telling all my dog owner friends about it!!! Thank you Iams for making great tasting good for my doggie food!!!!

I love Iams. My dog loves it too! It's always been my go to dog food. My dog enjoys it and loves it! She eats it all. I wouldn't improve this product at all. My dog type is a small dog breed. She is mixed breed. I always recommend Iams to family and friends. 

I love that Iams is a reasonable price and it is made with real meat. It's main ingredient isn't corn or by products. I love it and so does my dog. She has a great shiny coat now and she's finally started gaining a little weight. (The vet said she was very mal-nurished when we found her.) I would recommend Iams to anyone with a pet... wait I DO recommend Iams to anyone with a pet! We Just Love It!

I feel good feeding my dogs a well known healthy brand of dog food. Their coat looks nice, and they have lots and lots of energy after eating. I notice a reduction in poop because they don"t have to eat as much as a cheaper brands. Worth the money I think.

My dog Sheba ate this from when she was a year and a half until she was 12 (had to switch to lower protein due to age-related health issues). She was always healthy and gobbled this meal right up. Highly recommend for anyone who’s pup doesn’t require a special diet.

My dog was use to eating the cheap 50lb bag of dog food at my parents while I was at college. After that I took her with me and started getting her this food and she loves it. Her coat looks so much better and she has more energy than ever and she's 7. Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as the package arrived with the Iams, my dog was bouncing up and down, as she seemed to sense that it was for her. I waited until her dinner time to try the product out, and she inhaled it! She has been on it for a little over a week, and I am noticing an improvement in her coat. She is a mini Schnauzer, and her coat is smooth, and SUPER shiny. She has an abundance of energy (she is 9!), and her activity level and energy levels are back to where they used to be. She absolutely loves the flavor, as she does tend to be picky with dry food. So this food is a keeper and I have already been buzzing about it to my friends and colleagues in the animal industry, and giving rave reviews about my personal experience with it! My dog says TWO PAWS UP!

We feed her twice a day, and the food is gone in less than a minute every time! She's a large dog, but getting older, so we appreciate the smaller sized pieces - easier on her teeth and easier to swallow. It's also important to trust the food you feed your dog, and we put a lot of trust in the Iams brand. The have never failed us.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received a bag of Iams Proactive Health Minichunks from Iams to review. The following opinions are based on my own observations as a dog mom. Several things impressed me this food. First and foremost, the smaller-sized kibble is perfect for my three dogs, who are all between 15 and 20 lbs. The second thing I noticed is that the kibble doesn’t have that unpleasant meaty smell that a lot of dog foods do. And, when I checked out the ingredients, I was happy to read that chicken is the first ingredient and it contains other sources of protein (egg) in addition to vitamins, minerals, and fiber. However, the kibble does include filler products such as corn meal and sorghum (flour) and chicken by-product meal, which is concerning to me. All three of my dogs were excited about their dinner, and seemed to enjoy the taste. That may not say much about Sally, (who will eat just about anything!), but one of my boys is very picky and was all for chowing down. Overall, I’d recommend this product as a decent dog food.
