[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My almost 6 year old Australian Cattle Dog is one picky eater. She prefers people food to dog food but I really like her to eat dog food. Usually I mix dry food with wet food. Making the transition to Iams involved just a little wet doctoring in the beginning. now she is used to just Iams (but loves a little wet food treat once in a while.) She seems to like the texture and the flavor of Iams. Especially Minichunks. Dinnertime is less stressful knowing that my dog is eating healthy.

I had switched my dogs food about a week ago because I thought I was getting my dog a better food choice. Not long after feeding my dogs (mini dachshunds) this brand of food they got really sick. They had bloody diarrhea and vomiting nonstop. It looked like a murder scene and my dogs were sick for about a week after we went to the vet and got medication. One of my dachshunds almost died overnight due to severe dehydration, hypothermia, and low protein and blood sugar counts. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FOOD!!! Something has changed in their product we used to have no issues with it until now.

My dog is 10 years old and has always had a sensitive tummy so we usually don't switch her food. Due to cost savings I thought I would try again. Unfortunately it still made her sick but it wasn't as bad as past experiences with other brand dog food.

One of my dogs has been eating it for seven years!Of course once in awhile mixed with wet food, or some human food like like chicken or left over meat. However I will have to switch to the 7plus soon.Overall, her coat is awesome, has great energy, and really good shape. Highly recommend, and will continue to use on other 2 dogs.

Seems to digest , had a lot of ingredients I wouldn’t eat and price is high , both pup and older dog seem to enjoy , lasts longer than off brands and it’s more filling ingredients , it’s a good food for my dogs in between delivery of our regular food

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 4 year old Puggle who I recently started feeding the Iams Proactive Health Adult Minichunks dog food. I was a little worried about switching his food because of the chance that it would upset his stomach. I was able to switch him over to the Minichunks pretty quickly with no problems at all. He loves the taste and the size was perfect for him. Iams is a great brand I have used the Iams brand cat food for years and looks like I will be changing to the dog food as well.

Not great at all. It’s cheap and that’s exactly what you get. My dog kept itching constantly while eating this and shedding a lot of hair. And frequent bowel movements. We switch them over to a better rated dog food and the itching and shedding decreased by a ton.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was anticipating switching my dog over to iams, so we started the switch immediately after receiving the free bag of jams from iams! And so far, its going good! He seemed to have noticed a difference in his food, but has been eating it just fine. I haven't noticed any distinct changes in him yet, but he does seem satisfied after his meals and it hasn't had any negative changes in him either. We're both feeling rather optimistic about it so far so updates are too come! :-)

All 3 of my dogs thrive on this food. As a puppy, our doodle had a sensitive tummy and we tried 10+ different foods over the course of a few months. Finally her issues subsided after starting her on Minichunks. Honestly, now I’m too nervous to try her on anything different!
