Only food our dog will eat. When we brought her home she was starving herself until we found this brand. Thankfully we found it before she got sick and had to go to the vet. Smells decent for dog food. Some times even our cat eats some so it must taste alrigbty

This is what I pick up for my dogs when I don’t have the time to go to the specialty dog food store where I buy their normal dog food. It gets the job done and as far as low cost dog food brands go, I think it’s a great substitute for what I normally feed my three beasts. It’s a nice middle ground for three very different types of dogs (an AKC cocker spaniel, a 100 lb American Bulldog, and a grumpy 9 yo pug-chihuahua) and they all seem to like the taste.

I tried to give her the Iams food a couple of times and she refuse to eat it but as I said my pooch is picky. I do not believe it has to do with the Iams product itself. I plan to give my food to someone else I know with a dog to try it out and get some feedback from them. Hopefully their dog will be willing to try to since mine did not. I am thankful for Iams giving me a sample to try before I bought a big bag since my dog would not try it.

I picked up a bag of the Iams for my large older dog, he's a picky eater. He was not very thrilled with the iams. He usually eats fresh meat and such, so I was not entirely shocked when he would turn his nose up at the food. For one who isn't so spoiled, it'd probably work better but for my old dog it wasn't a good fit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my puggle, Giani, was a baby I gave her Iams because I knew it was the best and I really thought of her as one of the kids, so I wanted to feed her the best. Unfortunately as budget constraints occurred I changed to a cheaper brand and while she would eat it she wasnt pleased and wouldnt eat much. I however realized the same way what I feed myself and the kids is improtant, what she eats is important as well. So this transition back to Iams has been joyful and Giani is doing her doggy dance enjoying her food again! Thanks Iams!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got Iams pro active health dog food for my dog thinking we would try something new for her. I sat the bag on the floor which was not a great idea because when I turned around, my dog was ripping open the bag. I took it away and then poured some of the Iams dog food in a bowl and then she wanted nothing to do with it. She will eat it slowly but does not seem to enjoy it as much as her previous brand of dog food.

if Ranek doesn't eat Iams He has the runs sometime badly we changed his food for a cheaper one and for the week that the other last we were cleaning our carpet nightly because he would wake up in the middle of the night and have to go out but he wouldn't make it to the door and it stank badly so I told my BF you changed his food you clean the mess Needless to say Ranek is an Iams dog again thank god

We feed my dogs iams dry food and they seem to like it a lot. We go in between wet and dry food from iams and they love it. I will continue to buy this product and other iams products. I recommend this to dog owners who are looking to feed their dog the best!

I have fed Iam’s healthy adult to all 3 of my dogs their entire lives (all yellow Labs) and they have loved it. It has kept them super healthy including their hips, digestive track, & weight. I feed my dogs 1 1/2 cup twice a day. Will never switch to another dog food! Iams Proactive Health Adult Minichunks Dry Dog Food Chicken

Granted, she is an extremely picky eater (guilty of spoiling her when she eats her meals). I have never seen her eat so quickly in the past 4 years I've had her! I received the bag about 4 days ago and it's practically finished! I definitely am going to be purchasing this brand and flavor for the rest of my doggy years.
