Seems to digest , had a lot of ingredients I wouldn't eat and price is high , both pup and older dog seem to enjoy , lasts longer than off brands and it's more filling ingredients , it's a good food for my dogs in between delivery of our regular food

With the other food she seemed to eat it in pauses & with this one she finishes it in one feeding. I received this free trial from IAMS themselves & I absolutely love it. My little princess seems to have found her favorite food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 2 dogs absolutely devoured this dog food. They were actually licking the empty bowls long after the meal time was done! It's awesome to know I can feed my dogs something they enjoy all while providing all of the essential nutrients they need!

I fed this to my small chihuahua for a little while as iams was the first food she was introduced to. After a while I switched her to something else that was a little smaller. It wasn't a bad food but the Minichunks are not as small as I expected. And she has a very little mouth. Overall it was fine, but I've just found another food that accommodates her size better. Price is a little steep but I also don't go through a ton of food with the smaller dogs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually feed my dog generic food. I fill his bowl and he'll slowly munch on it until it is empty days later. He constantly begs for food during meals and only really eats his food if he can't manage to con someone out of a piece of their dinner with his puppy-dog eyes. I figured making the switch to Iams Proactive Health would bring the same results, but I decided to try their instructions for portions to properly be able to review the product. The first day was a marked improvement for him. Instead of moseying over and eating when his quest for table scraps was defeated, he went to his bowl as soon as it was filled with the proper portion and began to have his meal. By the time he was finished the bowl was empty. I usually let him have free reign on how much he eats because he seems to manage it well, but with Iams I manage it as I'm almost positive he would eat until he was sick. I tried everything to make different foods work. I've laced his bowl with treats, splattered gravy on everything, and even tried positive reinforcement after meals to coerce him into eating more. Only, the results were terrible. He would pick through to the treats, lick the gravy off everything, and move food from his bowl to a different spot to make it look like he ate it. With Proactive Health none of this is necessary. He just goes to his bowl and eats. He'll keep eating until it's gone. I have a 4 lb. Yorkie, so even the slightest issue with his eating habits greatly affects him. Just four days into the Iams food and he seems to have more energy. He has also stopped spending my mealtime sitting next to me shuffling his feet with gleeful hope. As far as the other benefits, they don't need to be commented on. We know Iams makes better dog food than generic brands. We know the nutrients are far richer. We know the health benefits of using a name brand food dedicated to making your dog healthier. His coat will shine like it never has before. All of the things proper nutrients help with will happen. Usually, these foods packed with healthy stuff are hard to get a dog to eat. My picky Yorkie loves it. Even after my sample bag is used I will continue to purchase it because it just works.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our dog seems satisfied with the food. She is a medium-sized dog (Lab) and prefers the mini chunks for smaller bites for her smaller mouth. We're very happy with the brand and formula. The transition was smooth with no intestinal problems and she enjoys it.

We had two SharPei’s the male was 14yrs when we had to put him down and we lost our female to Pymetria,!we had decided not to get any other dogs until Lady just showed up in our backyard fence. She had eight pups under our shed so we decided to adopt her and the pups she was in horrible condition but we started feeding her Iams and she quickly started gaining weight. We have since found homes for all but two of the puppies which we decided to keep.

She is very finicky and will only eat canned food topped with either cheese or ham. The minute I put down the iams, she dove right in and now it is the only thing she will eat. I was pleasantly surprised and won't have to change her dog food around ever again. Of course, I had my aunt who has a dog, and I let her try it out she did the same thing. Of course, the best way is by word of mouth and I have many people purchasing this awesome product. Thank you Iams for the best tasting dog food ever and I will be forever greatful.

Our Henry loves IAMS minichunks. They are allowed great size for him to chomp down on and not hurt his gums. We usually add a little water to make a gravy out of it, and he just devours it. The bag size lasts about 2 weeks and comes in different sizes depending on how much you need or your budget. All he ever eats now.

Iams was recommended to me by my vet over 17 years ago. I recently lost my first dog and he was 17 years old. I currently have another dog who is 15 and in good health as well as a puppy. Iams has been a good fit for keeping the dogs in our house happy and healthy with long lives!
