[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received a bag of Iams Proactive Health Minichunks from Iams to review. The following opinions are based on my own observations as a dog mom. Several things impressed me this food. First and foremost, the smaller-sized kibble is perfect for my three dogs, who are all between 15 and 20 lbs. The second thing I noticed is that the kibble doesn’t have that unpleasant meaty smell that a lot of dog foods do. And, when I checked out the ingredients, I was happy to read that chicken is the first ingredient and it contains other sources of protein (egg) in addition to vitamins, minerals, and fiber. However, the kibble does include filler products such as corn meal and sorghum (flour) and chicken by-product meal, which is concerning to me. All three of my dogs were excited about their dinner, and seemed to enjoy the taste. That may not say much about Sally, (who will eat just about anything!), but one of my boys is very picky and was all for chowing down. Overall, I’d recommend this product as a decent dog food.

I would give this product a 2. My dog did not have a good experience with this food, she is a 4 month old German Shepard full breed. She had really bad diarrhea, I'm not sure if it's because of something in this food or if she's can't handle it but this was not a good experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were so excited to receive a sample of ProActive Health™ MiniChunks dog food compliments of Iams! The moment we got it, my three year old son couldn't wait to share it with our dog. Our dog is a chihuahua mix, so we are always looking for dog food with a small bite, and I must say this food is a perfect fit. I've never been one to measure our dog food on a daily basis. We usually leave a bowl full of food, and the dog will come and go as she wishes. Since we transitioned to measuring a 1/2 cup per serving I can see the excitement in her eyes as we get ready to feed her. My son takes pride in helping feed her, measures out her food and is happy to be a part of this. Our dog loves the dog food, I can tell by how fast she scarfs up her serving. I've noticed she's much more alert, her coat is shiny and she seems much more active. We are very very happy with this sample and look forward to being an Iams customer from here on out. :)

I can not say enough about this food. My dogs love it. It is complete nutrition and is small enough for my small breed dogs to eat. I will be feeding my Dogs IAMS for the rest of their years and since they are only 1 and 2 years of age it will be a long time. Thank you IAMS for caring so much about our pets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I waited until my little lady had tried and made a decision on the Iams ProActive Health MiniChunks dog food. I received a bag of this dog food directly from Iams for testing and review purposes. My dog is now on Iams ProActive Health MiniChunks dog food as her only food and she likes it. She goes right up to her bowl and eats like she is having the most fun of the day. I am pleased because I had already made the decision to stop the trial if she didn't eat as usual. The funny thing is that I live next door to my vet I asked him about switching foods and his comment was that I was going to a better and more nutritious food and it should be beneficial to my pup. I am also pleased to learn that the main ingredient is chicken. My dog seems to like it and I am pleased that she is eating a healthy meal.

My dog absolutely loves this brand of dog food. She's a yorkie so I like that IAMS makes minichunks small enough for her eat. She never gets sick and always has tons of energy. She loves this food so much she always plays with the little chunks and tosses them around before eating them!!

We just recently switched to Iams because my dog was bored with her old food. She went nuts for Iams, I think she thought it was a treat because she is still very excited everytime I fill her bowl up. I did notice her coat looks a lot shinier and healthier overall. Definitely a good quality dog food and I will re-purchase..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I normally don't switch up my dog's type of dog food. However, when I read the benefits of this brand, I knew my dog would have to try it. Usually, he is really particular about the taste and will turn his nose up on anything that isn't his regular brand. My dog had no trouble eating this! I felt good knowing I was giving dog food that my dog loved and that was also healthy for him. Gonna continue buying it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog seemed to love the Iams mini chunks as soon as it arrived. I had been mixing it slowly into her current food that she had been eating. There have been no ill effects from the transition. She is just as regular and has not shown any symptoms of upset stomach or anything like that. The measuring scoop that Iams sent to us free along with the bag of food is perfect for getting the correct amount of food fed to her daily. The mini chunks are perfect bite size for her also since she is a mini doxie and tends to spend a lot of time chewing the larger kibble. Overall I feel confident in feeding my little girl Iams mini chunks, they are the right size and perfect nutritional blend for her. I will continue to feed her this food after our sample bag runs out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of dog food from Iams and began to make the transition from her old dog food to her new and i could tell right away that she preferred Iams. she picked out all the Iams bits first then ate the rest of her dog food. i really like that the first ingredient is chicken. i even got my sister a bag for her dog's birthday so she could try it out as well cause my baby likes it so much.
