[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were very excited to receive our large bag of Iams dog nuggets. The measuring cup and keychain was a nice bonus for me as a dog owner, and for the Iams company to advertise their brand. My pugs were excited when it came in the mail because they noticed how excited I was. When it was time for them to eat in the afternoon, I placed the nuggets in their dish, and the black pug ate her Iams nuggets right away, where as the Fawn pug was a little skeptic at first and had to be encouraged to eat. The next day, the Iams nuggets went off as a hit for both pugs, so I would easily recommend these bite sized nuggets to friends with dogs. I think that is what my black pug enjoyed about them the most, the fact that they were small enough for her to chew properly.

Although it's not the most natural option it is the dog food my dog will consistently eat over the years. We've tried more expensive food like Bil-Jac and Blue Buffalo, both of which she would stop eating all together. We switched back to Iams and she has been happily eating it since.

I have 4 dogs, all different breeds. I’ve been feeding them this food for years and their health has steadily declined. As soon as I changed their diet away from this food, all 4 of my dogs health has improved significantly. Both young and old. If your dogs getting arthritis, or starting to get overweight despite controlled portions, or your old dog started into or is close to kidney failure, stop using this dog food. That’s been my experience with this product. I hope it helps someone else.

We have noticed a significant difference to our dog since switching to Iams. He must have a sensitive stomach because with his old brand he seemed to suffer from some digestive "issues" that by default made his people suffer as well. With Iams he seems to have to lost his power to clear a room. :)

if Ranek doesn't eat Iams He has the runs sometime badly we changed his food for a cheaper one and for the week that the other last we were cleaning our carpet nightly because he would wake up in the middle of the night and have to go out but he wouldn't make it to the door and it stank badly so I told my BF you changed his food you clean the mess Needless to say Ranek is an Iams dog again thank god

We feed her twice a day, and the food is gone in less than a minute every time! She's a large dog, but getting older, so we appreciate the smaller sized pieces - easier on her teeth and easier to swallow. It's also important to trust the food you feed your dog, and we put a lot of trust in the Iams brand. The have never failed us.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Autumn is loving the Iams proactive mini chunks that she has been able to try. I love it for the ingredients, she is eating it up because of the taste. We are ready to switch due to having a better alternate to the other poor quality dog foods on the market. I've also noticed that this food doesn't upset our dogs stomach, which in turn allows us to have a better smelling home.

I’ve bought this for the past 3 months and my dog loves this food. He gobbles it up as soon as I fill his bowl and that wasn’t the case with other foods he’s tried. He particularly likes the mini chunks, I got the new one like this but for bigger dogs (he’s a pit bull) and he didn’t like how huge the food was, so I went back to mini chunks and he’s happy again. He likes this as much as cat food. I chose this food because the ingredients were more natural than others. I liked the fact the first ingredient was chicken and not some by product meat or corn meal. If my dogs happy with it than I am too.

Our Henry loves IAMS minichunks. They are allowed great size for him to chomp down on and not hurt his gums. We usually add a little water to make a gravy out of it, and he just devours it. The bag size lasts about 2 weeks and comes in different sizes depending on how much you need or your budget. All he ever eats now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually feed my dog generic food. I fill his bowl and he'll slowly munch on it until it is empty days later. He constantly begs for food during meals and only really eats his food if he can't manage to con someone out of a piece of their dinner with his puppy-dog eyes. I figured making the switch to Iams Proactive Health would bring the same results, but I decided to try their instructions for portions to properly be able to review the product. The first day was a marked improvement for him. Instead of moseying over and eating when his quest for table scraps was defeated, he went to his bowl as soon as it was filled with the proper portion and began to have his meal. By the time he was finished the bowl was empty. I usually let him have free reign on how much he eats because he seems to manage it well, but with Iams I manage it as I'm almost positive he would eat until he was sick. I tried everything to make different foods work. I've laced his bowl with treats, splattered gravy on everything, and even tried positive reinforcement after meals to coerce him into eating more. Only, the results were terrible. He would pick through to the treats, lick the gravy off everything, and move food from his bowl to a different spot to make it look like he ate it. With Proactive Health none of this is necessary. He just goes to his bowl and eats. He'll keep eating until it's gone. I have a 4 lb. Yorkie, so even the slightest issue with his eating habits greatly affects him. Just four days into the Iams food and he seems to have more energy. He has also stopped spending my mealtime sitting next to me shuffling his feet with gleeful hope. As far as the other benefits, they don't need to be commented on. We know Iams makes better dog food than generic brands. We know the nutrients are far richer. We know the health benefits of using a name brand food dedicated to making your dog healthier. His coat will shine like it never has before. All of the things proper nutrients help with will happen. Usually, these foods packed with healthy stuff are hard to get a dog to eat. My picky Yorkie loves it. Even after my sample bag is used I will continue to purchase it because it just works.
