I love the ice however the motor is loud and occasionally a fan squeaks when running. This seems to be a common issue and I noticed it after plugging it in for the first time. It doesn't interfere with the ice but at this price point I was expecting a better quality.

So far so good but have only had for about three weeks. I love the ice it makes but I'm a little worried about how some people say it will only last a few months or a year or two at the most. I should've gotten an extended warranty. But I'm only using distilled water and I plan to sanitize it next week for the first time after the initial cleaning. My purchase included the side tank but I found, so far, that I did not really need it although it worked perfectly, however, l'm glad I have it and may reattach it eventually. I like the looks of the machine but it is a little loud but it doesn't run all the time. Our kitchen and living room and dining room are all in one big room so the low hum can be noticeable at times.

I love my Profile pebble ice maker. It was a piece of cake to install. Works like a dream and makes the best pebble ice ever. The bluetooth feature makes setting a schedule for ice making so convenient too. I tried other brands and this one shines above them all. Way to go GE!

I love this ice maker, it makes ice really fast. If I could change anything it would be that it comes with a bigger water tank because I have to fill the tank everyday, but it's worth it to have this nugget ice anytime I want it it was a little expensive but worth it if your like me and a iceaholic! I couldn't live with out it if something happens to this one down the road I will diffently buy another that's how much I love it!

I just spent a lot of money on version 1.0 of the ice maker and I do like it. As soon as I purchased it, version 2.0 came out with better features especially when it comes to hygene and safety. Is it a possibility to trade up and pay a difference? My machine is literally only a few months old.

I did a lot of research and reviews on nugget ice makers and this one was rated #1 that doesn't always mean it's the best but it does here. It's super quiet makes ice very fast and the ice tastes great if you're on the fence about getting one don't waste money on the cheaper ones that will tear up in 2 weeks get the best name brand in appliances get a GE you won't be disappointed. I bought this product to help me increase my water intake while reducing my single use water bottle purchase. This has definitely helped as I am always guaranteed a chilled beverage no matter the type of drink. I absolutely love this and it has exceeded my expectations.

We LOVE our new GE Opal 2.0 Ice Maker!! It works as advertised and produces “the good ice”! It is wonderful as a portable i e maker, kinda wish there was an option to run a water line to it. But well worth the money! Still does “drip” and where we have it installed - we can't use the drip tray. But not a huge deal for us.

I can't really say a whole lot because it's her feelings more than mine but I will say she is absolutely loving this thing she doesn't care about chilling sodas anymore she turns it on in the morning and it runs until the evening just so she has fresh eyes cops and cups worth but I can't say I'm glad she's getting her water at least haha but I'll seriousness this product is great it's a bit heavy but it's all a construction the additional reservoir really makes it easy to keep it going it is shiny so it matches most of the appliances we got for a wedding honestly great purchase.

Once we put this machine in the kitchen we have yet to go se the 2 other ice machines in our refrigerators. The ice nuggets are perfect for our tiki drinks (which is why we bought it) and now the whole family (4) uses it for everything that needs ice. I like the connectivity and the fact that I can turn it off at night and set a schedule. It makes a funny noise sometimes but that doesn't bother us. It's a great addition to the house. Much better value that a Scotsman.
