I bought this machine about 4months ago and have been obsessed since. I love ice especially the “good ice” this ice machine has been wonderful. I live the ice alone or in my iced coffee. I also love that I am able to do basic controls from my phone so even at work I am able to turn the machine on and off! I recommend this to all my friends and family!

I've read a lot of reviews for this ice maker and I'm here to tell you this is one of the best purchases I've done lately. I love crunch ice. It's actually the motivator for me to drink more water. I hate drinking water, but add this ice and I'll drink it no problem. I've heard reviews of it being loud. I haven't had that experience at all. I've had no problems with it thus far. I did buy the extended warranty just to be safe. If you're on the fence about spending a lot of money on this - I say do it. I don't have any regrets!!

We just bought the GE Profile Opal 2.0 Ice Machine. It is just as we thought it would be - GREAT. It took a about 4 or so hrs. for the bin to fill the 1st time but has made new ice continuously since then. I enjoy chewing on ice and this ice is perfect. Yes, the machine makes a subtle noise but it's not annoying

I was hesitant to spend the $$$ after reading so many bad reviews. I've only had it for a week but so far I love it. Cleaning it is easy, I do not think it's too loud, and the nuggets are perfect! It is aesthetically pleasing and it's been a huge hit at the house. Everyone wants the ice now!

I've been wanting this ice machine for a long time! My boyfriend gave it to me for Christmas. Best gift ever! It works perfectly and now I get the “good” ice anytime I want! Tip: Read the instructions before setting it up. It will save you tons of time! Lol!

I absolutely love the nugget ice and this has been the best kitchen appliance I have purchased recently. I turned it off while I was gone on a work trip and the day I traveled back home finally I turned it back on via the app and had a nice cold bin of my favorite ice when I got home.

Once my built in ice maker broke after years of use, I took a chance on the 2.0 GE profile I've maker and have been nothing but please with how easy, fast, and great this unit works. Pretty much plug it in, and after going through the clean cycles, you have ice within the first hour of using it. Great Product and highly recommend!!

Purchased an Opal 2.0 Nugget ice maker for my wife as a Christmas present. She's always loved crunching ice at Sonic and, when I'd heard that GE had a machine for consumer/home use, I decided to buy one. In a word, she LOVES her new nugget ice maker!! I've been sourcing ice from the machine, as well, even though we have an in-door unit on our GE Monogram refrigerator/freezer. Frankly, I prefer the, smaller, "soft" ice nuggets in my morning orange juice. Although we haven't had our new ice maker very long, I'm very pleased with it so far. While it's not inexpensive, the quality is there and I'm betting I'll save some money this summer as my wife and I drive by Sonic rather than pulling in for a cup of soda and their chewable ice nuggets! One final point...the unit has nice LED lighting that looks fantastic reflecting off the ice and adds to the overall quality image of the appliance.

This ice maker was a gift from my family and I love it so much! I love the size of the ice, the fact that it refills the ice as you use it, it's quiet, its compact and very easy to use. Now I'm asked to bring ice to places because everyone loves this ice!
