Love this. Purchased as a gift for my wife as she loves the nugget ice served at some restaurants and this duplicates them. My kids also love this ice maker.

This has been the most expensive hunk of junk I've ever purchased. Save your money- the time starting and stopping, the amount of maintenance it requires and the sound of the machine disturbing my entire household is ridiculous.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS ICEMAKER!! I use purified water because our tap water tastes funny and it's hard in our area. We've only had it a month, but it's fast and great ice.

Do not buy this. It makes the worst squeaking/roaring sound for no apparent reason. Cleaned it a hundred times. Replaced hoses and the little filter in the base. Hopefully a refund or replacement will change my mind.

I cant wait to use this!!! I have been wanting one for a year. It is not as loud as the comments have said. No different than the ice maker or fridge. Would not put it in a quiet office, but its an ice maker not a coffee pot.

Horrible product, went through 2 of them in less than 2 weeks. Both made horrible noises, no matter what was done it never stopped. Followed everything to a T and why pay that much for something of that quality.

It's only been a month since I bought it. At times it will make the nugget ice but then it is shaved ice most of the time. I have cleaned it 2 times and still shaved ice.

Just like everyone else we have had nothing but issues with our machine. Loud noises, constant defrosting etc. I highly recommend not buying the 2.0 until they figure out these design flaws

The Opal has been fantastic and exactly what we needed in a household that loves ice! We never have an issue with keeping up with demand and would recommend this product to anyone who consider themselves fans of Sonic ice!

I purchased the 2.0 in January 2023. It is without question the best $600 I have ever spent. When used and cleaned properly, it is a true game changer. We love this machine!!!
