I was sceptical when my wife got this ice maker. However, having used it for a few weeks now, I LOVE the ice it makes. It even has an app so I can see what it is doing when not near the machine and turn the light on and off. The only gripe I have is that the ice piles up against the back of the bucket and when you pull it out to get ice, some of it falls back into the water reservoir. There really isn't anything to dislike though. It does a great job of making great ice.

I bought this ice maker about 6 months ago it is great I love it. the only thing about it is the limit switch that tells it when the ice maker is full doesn't work too good, when the ice starts melting it doesn't come back on you have to open it and move the ice and then shut it again then it starts working but other than that it's wonderful I love it!

Works great. We have been using ours for about 2-3 months and love it. It keeps up with our daily ice usage. We use a Brita water filter to filter the water we use in it. My brother bought one too and he loves it. Expensive but worth it so far. Makes great easy to chew ice.

You will never regret this purchase, The quality and texture of the ice is just practically addictive and we find that we drink a lot more water and tea when we have this kind of ice. There are just two of us but even with our extensive use it does not really run out as it is constantly remaking on a relatively quick cycle. It’s a little bit noisy when it’s making ice but it shuts off that noise Once the bin is full. It’s an elegant and beautiful looking machine and the ice is Crunchy but chewable without damaging your teeth etc.!

This is a great product but is known for a loud sleeping noise. Had to exchange my first one for that reason. Pros: large water tank don’t have to refill all the time. Ice build up (ice will melt closest to the front and get stuck just outside the shoot) so you have to break it up or stir it to keep it full. It is EXPENSIVE.

My wife really wanted one of these because she drinks a lot of water and LOVES the ice from Son1c. We got this and there is both good and bad. Bad first - it seems that it shouldn't be this expensive. Second - Ours started making a screeching noise randomly in the very first week. This is actually a known problem so I'm not sure why it is still happening. On the plus side, it really does make great ice and it is cleaver how it reuses ice melt to keep the bin full and reduce refills. In the end, we are exchanging our first unit for a new one, but for sure keeping, and loving it.

I love this ice maker. It keeps us in ice constantly. It is easy to refill with water when needed, and easy to empty the ice out. It is pretty quiet and it has a solid feel to it. The plastic water container and the ice container are made out of sturdy material.

My wife loves nugget ice. Her cousin has one of these machines and she really liked it. So I surprised her with it for Christmas. When it's making ice, it's not loud but it is a hum in the background. I like how it recycles the water from the ice that melts. Definitely add the water tank on the side... it makes it a lot easier to fill and allows you to make ice for a few days. A little bit of a pain to clean, but I set aside about an hour every couple weeks and it's not bad.

This ice maker is the best! We had a smaller counter ice maker before this one. It was so small and only held about one large ice tea cup worth of ice. This ice maker is amazing. I love love love the crunchy ice and it makes enough ice for several large ice teas (a must in my family)

I previously had a different nugget ice maker that broke after a couple of months. It was loud and sometimes made a squeaking sound. Now this nugget ice is better quality, the machine is quiet and even can connected from an app via wi-fi. I love that I can control it when I’m not home since I’m gone some days 11+ hours for work and don’t want to leave it on the whole time but having ice ready for me after my long shifts is amazing! I also love that the app tells you when it’s time to clean/descale! Makes knowing when to do maintenance a breeze. Loving my opal ice maker so far!
