Big hit in my house!

We love our new “sonic” ice maker. After a couple of rounds of getting used to the routine, it continues to provide enough ice for our family if 6. Highly recommend!

Love love love

The ice maker in fridge died. It was quite lucky that it did because really wanted this machine. It pairs perfectly with my Bartesian cocktail machine!

I used it for 3 months and it stopped working

I like the machine used it for 3 months and the thing stopped working. Stopped making ice and start to make noise. I need to figure out how to get a new one my wife loved it. It's her favorite ice.

We're sorry to hear about your Opal not producing ice. We'd like to help out with this. We recommend trying out a full electronic reset combined with a full cleaning of the unit. The reset can be done by unplugging the power cord for 2-3 minutes, then plugging it back in. So fast

Pro: You have an acceptable amount of ice minutes. It's really great, and the perfect size. Con: Sometimes the side tank has plenty of water and it says “Add water”. You just open the ice drawer and close it and it'll start again.

Somewhat disappointed

We enjoy the ice this machine makes. The problem I have is it is just too noisy. I have tried noise-suppression material that does not help. I have had to set the schedule to make ice in the early morning hours when we are asleep.

Awesome appliance that runs like a work horse.

The product works extremely well. The quality of the nugget ice is superb and the accessibility of the machine through the smart home application makes running the ice maker a breeze.

The improvements on this ice maker are appreciated

This is my second GE nugget ice machine. I loved the first one and with the improvements on this one I know I will enjoy it as much if not more. My children bought me this ice maker for my 76th birthday Happy birthday to me.

We love our ice maker

We love our ice maker, the only issue we have had is the noise it was making that did get loud at times but I took the back panel off and greased the motor and no sound issues, very convenient to have "the good ice" ready for a cold drink.

Good but not Great

I love this ice maker it makes just the right amount of Ice for my family of 5. It was easy to set up and easy to fill the water tank. My only issue is that now that I've use it awhile it makes an awful noise when filling up the reservoir.

The best luxury

I love my ice maker, I bought it as a gift to myself. I do think it's a bit pricey but after owning it I'm content with that. The only thing I'm not sure about is the motor will sometimes sound like it's humming. Not sure if that is normal.
