I LOVE Opal Ice!!! The only thing that reduced the stars to 4 is the screeching that it does at some point during a cycle. I can't figure out what causes it and I can hear it 2 rooms away from the ice maker.

Product has been very reliable, wife uses it daily and it continues to making good ice. I hear of others who purchased other brands and are having major issues, Thanks GE.

I absolutely love my ice maker!! Wish I knew a trick to make the ice softer but either way, I save alot of money not having to go buy ice anywhere else!!

We use the ice maker everyday with no issues. It makes plenty of ice for our needs. I highly recommend getting the additional water container. Without it, we would be constantly filling up the main container.

The nuggets aren't quite as soft as the Sonic ice or Hospital ice but they are softer then regular ice cubes by far. The machine makes plenty of ice very quickly too.

It's a nice machine. The ice is perfect and there is always plenty. It does have to be cleaned very often. I think the extra tank is worth not having to refill the main tank all the time. We go through about one of the extra tanks per day.

I just returned my third and final ice maker. The third machine stopped making ice and continually indicated to add water even when the water reservoir was full. I cleaned and desalinated as directed.

For the last 13 years, we had a built in ice maker that we loved. We recently moved and wanted another ice maker and decided to try the GE Opal. We love it!! We also bought one for our son who said this is the best gift!

My husband surprised me with this for my birthday, I was so excited! I have been asking for one for years. I love the little nugget ice. I have been eating ice none stop. I love this machine. Only complaint is the app it doesn't really control it

This is the best ice ever! Once you hook it up, within 10 minutes you have ice! Easy to use! Shipping was a bit slow, but worth the wait! I don't usually do reviews but I felt this time was a must!
