Yes, this little device makes a little noise. The more it has been used the less noise it makes, or maybe we don't hear it anymore. Regardless, this is worth every penny. We absolutely love the ice and yes I would recommend it.

We love this GE ice maker. It makes the perfect ice just like we like it. We would run to our local Sonic to get drinks with this ice but now we can make it ourselves. It makes ice quickly also.

I love it. Simple to use and set up. We have on our cabinet. It doesn't take a lot of space. I'm still learning so I'll try to update if I have issues

I've had it for 6 months and no issues. This was the best investment I've made ! Truly has saved me multiple trips to the local gas station lol. Other reviews talk about the noice but I don't pay it any attention. Overall great purchase

Fairly easy to get started and setup. Instruction are little vague but able to manage through. Starting making ice with 30 minutes or so. Very nice looking machine.

Works great, only problem is side tank reservoir doesn't drain into main tank which happened right out of the box. I will have to see if there's a blockage or another issue going on.

Awful ice maker for the price paid. Ice machine leaks consistently when actively making ice (water all over my floor) and ice in the morning is nearly melted when I go fill my cup. Wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.

Omg!!! Luv this machine. We never ran out of ice. I have 2 of this ice machine. We absolute love it. Easy to clean and maintain. Will absolutely recommend to friends and family

I'd love to see it compatible with a water line. Keeping the tank full is not a huge deal but it would be more convenient. I'd like to see an easier way to drain it
