So I decided to replace my Opal 1.0 after 5 years. It's sounds were getting a tad louder. So this 2.0 is very quiet. I really like the dark gray and sleek look too. The app is great too! 5 stars!

Great ice maker, nice and clean, smaller chewable pieces, fast, looks good sitting on countertop. Only drawback is it needs flushing once a week or you get funky tasting ice.

This ice machine is amazing. The little ice cubes it makes are amazing. Only set back is that it has a very loud noise when it is making the ice. We had an older version and it was quiet. This updated version is extremely loud.
