So sorry that the setup took a little long, but we're sure happy to hear that it wasn't a bad experience overall. If the machine is telling you to add water even though the side tank is full, it's possible that the hoses aren't properly installed. We also recommend resetting your icemaker by disconnecting power from the unit for 2 to 3 minutes and reconnecting power. With that being said, here are a few things you can try to correct the issue with ice production: - Ensure that the opal has plenty of water in the reservoir. - Check that the ice bin is pushed all the way in place. - Try to reset the Ice Maker by unplugging the unit for 3-4 hours.
