We loved it at first but then after multiple cleaning cycles after setting it up and then making a first batch of ice, we all tasted the ice and I noticed something in my mouth. Removed object and it was a metal shaving! I then stopped everyone from consuming the ice and then allowed the icemaker to finish making a complete batch of ice overnight. In the morning I dumped all of the ice and the side water reservoir. I went to empty the internal reservoir and notice 2 more metal shavings floating in the bottom! Love the dimensions, it fits under my shelves on the countertop and is still pretty slender. I'm within 24 hrs of use and it doesn't seem noisy to me. The capacity and production is perfect as our household goes through lots of ice. I was used to the simple bullet ice maker so this was a bit more with installation but definitely worth it! I love the machine.

The freeze comes to mind you get what you pay for… The instructions for a little foggy to set it up, but you just follow the diagrams and you're good. But I love having this on my counter because now I personally drink a lot more water like I should. There's nothing like it went up my travel cup with ice water and it blasting me all day and then I get home and I fill it up again. Well worth the money!

Amazing machine! Beautiful appearance. Matches all my other GE profile appliances. Ice is perfect for drinks and crunching! I used to buy Sonic ice but now i have it at home. Always fresh! My entire family enjoys the ice too. You will not be disappointed and yes. It's worth the money.

My wife and I are obsessed with this machine. As the title suggests, we are thrilled with the ice. The only thing I did not understand is why an ice machine needed to have wi-fi. The answer is it doesn't. We hooked up the wi-fi several days after starting the operations, and that's when the machine started screwing up, not making ice when it was needed, or saying “add water” when the side tank was completely full. We disconnected the wi-fi and all is well in the world again. Highly recommended.

My family purchased this ice machine a couple of months a ago. I haven't been disappointed at all with the performance of this machine. The ice stays frozen, the capacity of the storage bin is large, the side water chamber is easy to refill, and the bin fills with ice very fast. We love it and we would definitely recommend this unit!

The ice this thing makes is outstanding. The speed is incredible too. The only thing we don't like is the door that pulls out. It sticks to the point that you have to take hold of it with one hand and then wrap your other arm around the machine and pull as hard as you can. Jiggling makes no difference. We dread trying to get at our wonderful ice.

One of my friends got one for Christmas and I fell in love with it, so for my birthday my husband got me one! Our friends and family call this our "boujie ice maker" but when they come over they all fill up their cups before they go home! It's the best ice and when I fix my 4yr old some drink she always tells me she wants the good ice!

I love this ice maker! We were constantly running out of ice from the freezer and living in Florida, iced drinks are a necessity. It is quiet, efficient, and easy to use. It is also easy to clean. With this great appliance, we all drink more water now. We are so happy with this purchase.

This makes the little nuggets of ice, which is what I love. The capacity is pretty big, too, and the ice maker will continue to make ice to fill it up whenever you take any. It was easy to set up; we just had to find a nice roomy counter spot for it. It's not HUGE, but it does take up some space. We use up a lot of ice from our refrigerator and often run out during the summer months, so this is a perfect machine to supplement our ice supply. The reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because it can be LOUD during the times it's making ice. We haven't taken the time yet to figure out why or if there is anything we can do to quiet it. But there were a couple times we had to just turn it off because it was WAILING, and the kids were asleep. There is a bluetooth feature which I didn't think I would use much. But when it was loud, it was nice that I was in the other room and was able to turn it off with my phone instead of going to it to shut it off! Overall though, I love this ice maker. Just need to figure out how to make it quieter....
