[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family and I have enjoyed the ice maker. Even when our friends and family come over they want ice in their drinks! The ice maker is constantly making ice, it's a quiet machine, installation was quick and had easy to read instructions. I recommend everyone to have in their home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unwrapped the ice maker. Read all instructions throughly. Watched a you tube video also. Followed set up procedure and in no time we had perfect ice for the rest of the holidays. Loving it loving it!!!

So... Our journey with the ol' XPIO13SCSS had a very rough start. We set it up and it happily provided us with ice for the day. Then, seemingly in protest, it stopped. We added little Olaf and Vanilla Ice signs to give it some encouragement, but nothing would make it show up to work like the rest of us. Finally, we added some matching here/out of office signs to really make it part of the team. At that point, we also downloaded the app and hooked it up to the internet. We set a schedule just like the rest of us, it ran an update and smooth sailing. It makes ice while we're here and goes to sleep when we're not. It's much happier and drinks are much colder. So... Give it a schedule and it will be much happier, and so will you.

We received the ice maker and followed all set up instructions. The ice maker worked for 6 days before it broke and no longer created ice. We tried all recommended fixes and the machine was deemed ineffective. Super frustrating for the price and excitement around the product.

We are now on our second one of these. The first one started making this loud clunking and then slamming noise. GE sent us a second one and this new one now makes a high pitch noise (it sounds like the emergency broadcast system noise) any time the pump turns on. For what you pay for these things are not very good quality.

I received this ice maker as a Christmas gift from my son and daughter best Christmas gift ever. I am always having to buy ice from grocery store or gas station and buy the time you get home it is already melting. This causes it to refreeze and then you have to break it up to use it. I love how easy it is to fill glasses with the enclosed scoop. It looks nice sitting on counter. The easy to fill side tank makes a endless supply of yummy nugget ice always accessible. Also this ice makes for a good ice pack for a injury or boo boo for kids. Since the nuggets are small and not heavy and sharp like typical ice cubes. I would definitely recommend this ice maker to anyone who uses ice daily. I also ordered the magnetic scoop holder accessory it attaches to the side of the ice maker making it even more streamlined.

It worked and for 2 months. Now the pump has quit pulling water out of the reservoir. They sent me a fix to reset the pump. Apparently, it will be an everyday event if we'd like it to keep making ice. Totally unacceptable for a new unit. I did speak with someone at Onpoint. It took an hour on hold. Still no answer to the email request I sent on Monday.
