We'd like to provide you with some information about the operation of your Opal ice maker. We recommend running a descale cycle to resolve any abnormal sounds, as well as ensure that there is at least 4" of clearance in the back, on both sides, and above the Opal. Disconnecting the unit from power for at least 3-4 hours can also help resolve the abnormal sounds.
