The ice maker makes the nugget, 'Sonic' ice that was desired. However, it is quite loud (especially as it ages and marches toward its demise). Lasted 3ish years and support spends time telling you to do what you've already done, but then there's no real fixing it. Don't really love disposable products, can't these be built to last and/or built to be fixed?

I am having a problem with the internal float device determining if there's any water in it. We ran several cleaning cycles and let it sit for 18 hours, and this seems to have fixed the issue.

Perfect size for us and at the right price, GE is always a reputable product. We can't wait to enjoy all our iced beverages, the team is really thrilled!

When it works it's great but the one I've had for 2 years is making screeching noises equivalent to nails on a chalkboard and leaking. The amount of time and effort it takes to clean it is ridiculous. If I do purchase another machine it would be my third in 4 years, at this point it's probably worth looking at other alternatives.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this in the box and finally decided to hook it up. I love this type of ice but this machine makes this horribly loud squealing noise randomly. It awful!!! I plan to call the company to see what can be done.

Noise level and the instructions are not specific to the machine. 1. I followed the online instructions to connect to WiFi. It kept asking for certain numbers on the back of the machine , that were not there. After researching online and reading comments from the community figured it out. 2 the cleaning button continues to blink. The instructions indicate a 55 min descaling process .. never happened. This is too loud and too much work for ice cubes. Sending it back

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My machine broke within 1.5 yrs despite impeccable maintenance. When I called for help they did nothing but read to me what I already read online. So disappointed and will never purchase or recommend again.

The product is difficult to set up. I am a chemical engineer and the instructions are difficult to follow, don't tell you that water will drip through the ice, it is necessary to prime the pump etc. They don't tell you its not made to keep on all the time. Needs to be cleaned out frequently. Called support 3 times and the hold times are over 45 minutes. The support people are real nice and helpful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the ease of setup, convenience of use and size of the ice cubes. The only con I've found is how often the cleaning reminder comes on. We're using soft filtered water and it seems at least once a month the cleaning reminder flashes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd countertop ice maker. It is a bit more than what I spent on others, But, It is worth every penny! It makes ice quickly, and its pretty quite. it only takes up about 2 inches more the other countertop models I've had, but its a way better designed ice maker. Its makes LOTS of wonderfully crunchy nuggets. No more running out of Ice or running to the store to buy the continuously shrinking pounds bagged Ice. The ice "bucket" holds a nice amount & refills quick. Set up is quick and easy. Just clean it, than run a few ice making cycles and toss the first two batches and now your are ready to enjoy a cold cocktail or cooler fill-up ! This little ice makers is going to be a game changer for next years Pool Parties!!!
