We purchased it on Nov 8,2023. It's beautiful, fits nicely on our counter, easy to set up & makes a lot of great ice. We installed a whole house water softening system before we purchased so we don't have any scale build up to contend with & the ice is delicious! I give 4 stars because it makes some pretty loud creaky squeaky noises that happen 6 or 7 times during the ice making process. I may exchange it for a new one & try again. :)

This unit is everything it is supposed to be and more! We love pellet ice, and some of our favorite beverages are and can be replicated with this awesome unit. You wanna call it Sonic ice, soda ice, or just pellet ice, your beverages will certainly have more flair and taste with the ice from this machine. We have received many compliments from family and guests in our home - the downside is it is a bit pricey, but small appliances that are well-made and have a "cool" factor fall into this price range. Has anyone priced a good mixer or toaster oven these days? We highly recommend this machine!

Simple to use and elegant design. Easy to clean and refill water. A little noisier than I had hoped but can easily become white background noise and worth a little noise for having nugget ice any time I want. Way to go GE! I've only had it for a few days so far but am so glad I spent the extra money to get the smaller ice that my family loves. Now I won't have to hear the obnoxious grinding of ice from the refrigerator anymore.

I love what I call sonic ice. My husband really loved sonic ice. I was going to buy the icemaker for him for Christmas 2022. But he got sick in Jan. 2022 and passed away 1 year ago today. So I really bought it as a bucket list for my husband. Everytime I use it , It brings him to my mind and heart.So I love the ice machine.

I love nugget ice and this machine makes it perfectly and quickly. The unit I got has the side reservoir and makes the footprint a little larger, but it makes it easy to fill with water. The machine is quiet and quick, can't ask for much more. It was an awesome birthday gift.

We had to return this ice maker after 2 weeks! I understand that an ice machine makes noise. But the sounds coming out of this machine were so loud it would wake the entire house up at night. I tried cleaning, using filtered water, distilled water nothing helped. It's such a shame because when it works it's amazing! And i love that it has the side tank so you're not refilling. I want to try getting another one but I'm not sure it's worth the hassle.

Didn't think we would Use it. Kids bought it for us for Christmas. But it has come in handy. After a year we did get some loud noises coming from the gear box. Had to oil bearings and now it is back to running. It will keep up with four grown men drinking whiskey and coke!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GE Profile Series Ice Maker is a dream come true for our home. The small pellet ice is a favorite here and having this ice maker is so convenient. The set up was quick and ice was being produced within an hour of opening the box. A simple touch turns the machine on and the additional side water tank reduces the number of times water needs to be added.

This truly makes the perfect place! I love the timer but I can set so that I can have ice ready for myself before I wake up and just before I get home from work. It never sticks together, and it's quick to make ice. My husband thought it was overpriced until he started using it. He now agrees with me that it's worth every penny. The online app to control it needs to be improved, but the overall device is absolutely wonderful!

Unfortunately we have to return this ice maker. It has a squeal that is so loud it can be heat throughout our home. Customer service didn't provide any answers. The sound is from a brand new unit and has been doing from day 1. Will be looking for another solution.
