I love the options my ice maker 2.0 has and the chewable ice. I've had my icemaker going on 4 months now. 2-weeks ago I started having problems after cleaning/descaling it. The resevoir is full yet it keeps saying add ice. I read every GE article and the manual, tried all the suggestions and it still says "Add Water". I'm very frustrated. Will call support number.

This has changed the game for me. I am drinking even more water because I look forward to the “good ice”! It's fabulous! The only thing I did not expect was the noise. The motor is loud and I had to press the back panel to muffle the vibrating noise. If it were quieter, I would absolutely give this a five star review.

we just bought this item last week, so far so good. it is a great addition to a modern home fits on the counter under kitchen cabinet. not noisy, make great quality ice, ice is available constantly for the entire family, not enough ice for a party, you still have to buy ice from the store to cool beverages in a large cooler, or to show case cold wine buckets. it does look amazing and is very user friendly, no drips and no mess. thank you for a great design. this is a great compromise if your refrigerator ice maker keeps breaking or does not make enough ice.

I use to own a smaller countertop ice maker that I thought was great but would quickly run out of ice when multiple people were over. I bought this Opal 2.0 and I can't believe how quickly it makes ice, not to mention the nugget ice is way better for cocktails than the small cube ice you get from most ice makers. I'll never go back!

I was worried about the filling up of the water and at melting and having it be on all the time. None of those were valid concerns. It works well as designed. The Wi-Fi capabilities could be better. It should be HomeKit enabled. We are loving the ice and are glad that it is located in our wet bar separate from our kitchen because we need a kitchen appliances to be quiet.

My wife loves nugget ice which in the past I could only get at certain gas stations. Not anymore...we now have the same thing right at our fingertips. This ice maker not only makes nugget ice but it does so on a schedule that you set via WiFi. I truly could not be happier.

We got this as a present and can't begin to imagine life without it. All our neighbors want our “fancy ice”. The included side tank is amazing. We've yet to outpace the ice maker with a hand full of people getting refills. The machine is quiet comparable to some others I've heard. Price tag beyond worth it.

I love this machine's product. I love that there is an interior light (high/low). I like that it can be controlled via wifi. I don't like that my machine like noise about once every few days for no reason even though it's been regularly cleaned and descaled.

Three opal ice maker is a perfect addition to our kitchen. This machine churns out more than enough for our family of 5 who all love the soft ice. We're added the side tank and are working on a modification to connect directly to water supply. That is the only drawback of the machine. It should at least be an option to connect to a water supply.

I love everything about my ice machine! Best ice ever. Not loud. Doesn't take up too much space. Is super fast at making ice. Took my drinks to the next level. Only bummer is when I got it- it had a dent/huge bulge on the bottom right side of the machine. Probably someone was rough with it in shipping which is a bummer when you spend that kind of money on a machine. But the machine works well and the dent seems to be purely cosmetic which is a relief. I did have massive issues with amazons shipping also. It was a nightmare getting this machine!
