I only use distilled water and this thing is fantastic! We have 4 women and 2 kids that are addicted to chewable ice and there is always a full container waiting for them with this wonderful machine. The side tank makes it super easy to monitor and refill. I leave it on 24/7 and the lighted ice tray makes a wonderful night light as well as making the ice look clean and inviting.

Great icemaker. Produces nugget ice quickly. The only thing that may be of concern is that it is a little noisy when it is making the ice. It is not intermittent, it is pretty constant for a couple hours until all the ice is made then again when the ice is low. If this is in your basement bar that is not much of an issue. Probably something you want to use for parties and intermittent use since it does run quit a bit as the ice melts and new ice is made and the ice is not cooled in any matter.

We bought the one with the side tank. The ice maker was working well until a c oh pie of days after we purchased it, it started making a squeaking sound. We took it back and exchange it for the one without the side tank and we haven't had any issues so far. We love it!

I was abit skeptical about the expected volume it should make since we had to replace the first one we ordered earlier in the month, but the replacement works great. It took 3 hours to fill the bin the first time, and runs only short periods of time to maintain based on usage there after

Looks just as pictured works great! Received in perfect condition. Easy to set up and started making ice very fast after running the rinse cycle as recommended. I did purchase the filter and it was easy to install also. I have purchased a different ice maker in the past and it was ok I felt like I had to stay on top of it to have enough ice. This one was more expensive but you get what you pay for. I love the side tank and I always have ice ready to go. I am so glad I splurged on this one!

efore this product, I had had good luck with GE appliances. We were given the ice maker We received our first ice maker as a Christmas gift in 2021. That machine was very loud. We returned it and was given a new machine. This new machine makes loud noises that sounds like a cat screaming. This occurs every few days. We have to unplug the machine and re plug it in after a couple of hours. Obviously, this is not acceptable.

If you love nugget ice- you will be obsessed with this machine. It makes ice very quickly and the ice stays frozen for a good amount of time. My only complaint is that the machine is loud (sounds like I'm making popcorn in the microwave) but I have honestly gotten used to it. I definitely recommend this to ice lovers out there.

I rent, so I have to deal with the fridge my landlord gave us. I use lots of ice, so having to constantly fill ice cube trays is so tedious and annoying! I've been wanting to get an ice maker for a while now!! Having a countertop ice maker makes things so much easier!! Having a side tank reservoir is great too!! It makes ice quickly and I love that they are nugget sized! Love it.!

We've had 2 of these ice makers and they ALWAYS break. I cleaned it every week and descaled it every 2 to 3 weeks. It makes a high pitched noise. The These ice machines were not made for last longer than 8 months. That's a lot of money to spend in a product that doesn't last long.

I love that this ice maker is really fast at producing ice. I couldn't believe that just 20 minutes after filling the water tank we had ice. The only down side I've found is that the ice bucket collected condensation and dripped when opened. I think if it was better insulated this wouldn't be such a problem. I needed to turn it off and empty when not using the ice regularly.
