I bought this product to help me increase my water intake while reducing my single use water bottle purchase. This has definitely helped as I am always guaranteed a chilled beverage no matter the type of drink. I absolutely love this and it has exceeded my expectations.

This machine makes great ice, but at the cost of your hearing (and sanity). machine started defrosting on the 1st cycle and says needs cleaning every other cycle, even though we use purified / distilled water. Btw, when the ice machine starts howling, better run. And don't unplug it as you'll lose the wifi setup and re-connection is a pain.

I told my wife I wanted to purchase this ice maker and she thought I was crazy. Said we already had a new GE refrigerator that made ice. I tried to explain how this ice would be so much better. Softer in the mouth and easier to chew. She just stared at me. So, naturally I ordered it. Now instead of staring at me she stares at the ice maker with a huge smile on her face. We just giggle at how much we love the ice this machine makes. 5 stars!!

While the ice is great, there is a significant amount of maintenance to keep your ice clean and enjoyable. The ice “bucket” drips condensation on your counter or tray every time you pull it out. Be aware of the size of this thing as in a small kitchen, it would take up a large amount of counter space. The side reservoir, can help you go almost a month on one refill. The app allows you to schedule times to make ice. And ice is coming out about 10 minutes after you start it. And the ice bin can be full in about 3 hours. That is 3 lbs of awesome ice. Setup can be awkward if you go by the instructions, so go find a YouTube video and it is easy. Enjoy your beverages with your favorite ice. You will be glad you got this.

I love this ice maker. My sons a builder and he has two of these in his home. The texture of the ice is great for anyone who loves eating the ice as they drink. Easy to eat, crunchy, tiny ice. The whole family loves it. I'm thinking about getting one for my office.

We love the ice from our Opal 2. The only things keeping us from giving it a perfect 5 is it isa bit noisy while running, there is no option to plumb the unit in to a water line and the ice in the storage container seems to melt a little the longer it is in there. That said, we bought this unit for the ice and for that it gets a 5.

My daughter purchased a previous model and took it with her when she moved out. I immediately purchased a replacement as I can't dream of living without this ice machine. Love the pellet ice texture, and ease of having almost unlimited ice on hand. I have recommended this product several times … a bit pricey but a staple in our household.

Makes great ice for drinks. We use it at our Hawaii home for individual drinks and use our fridges ice maker for ice chests and blender drinks. You will need a more industrial ice maker if you currently use a lot of bagged ice or fill ice chests often.

It makes a nice texture of ice and also tastes good which I and my family love to chew it. it is smaller in comparison or traditional ice size. it has a nice design that looks good in the kitchen with stunning stainless steel with gray color. It has led which is looks good in the night time. I noticed that it make a louder noise when making the ice which feels annoying when it is making ice in the night time. I also had some issues with syncing the application. it disconnects frequently. This is defiantly helpful in summer to make lots of drinks. I do not use my refrigerator ice maker after using this. The application also has lots of features like scheduling and all which makes it easier to maintain it.

It was a decision months in the making due to a bad refrigerator ice maker. I finally decided to make the investment and I'm so glad I did. With the separate tank, easy to fill, it's awesome. Along with the app, set your own ice-making schedule... What a pleasure to have as much ice as I want whenever I want it. Great sized cubes... crunchy and small. The ice does melt when the unit is off, but the water gets refrozen once the unit is turned on. It's easy to use and looks nice. It does have a mild hum, so it's definitely not silent, but the volume is not a nuisance.
