Omg, I did not know I needed this in my life!! If you've ever had the misfortune of being in the hospital, the only pleasantry is that delicious ice. Well, now you can have it in the comfort of your own home. This little machine makes that ice that is so crispy, and it really absorbs the flavor of your drink. During these crappy times, it's so important to have some little pleasantries. Do yourself a favor and pick up this little ice maker!!

Three opal ice maker is a perfect addition to our kitchen. This machine churns out more than enough for our family of 5 who all love the soft ice. We're added the side tank and are working on a modification to connect directly to water supply. That is the only drawback of the machine. It should at least be an option to connect to a water supply.

We love our new Opal Icemaker. It was very east to set up and makes great ice! We wanted nugget ice for a long time but didn't want to purchase one of the big undercounter ice makers. The size is perfect on our counter and looks great next to our GE Monogram side by side refrigerator and other GE appliances.

We bought this machine almost 2 years ago now. We are on our 3rd replacement, luckily covered under warranty, but that is almost up. The first one quit working just randomly and they sent us another and it has leaked from the bottom constantly, we recieved the 3rd one last night and now it won't stay running. Definitely not built to last for the money it costs.

Makes great nugget ice. A little slow but what you would expect from a countertop ice maker. As written in other reviews, I haven't been able to connect to WiFi. The WiFi symbol appeared at first then vanished. I tried unplugging to reset in hopes of a reappearance. Didn't work. Unit is relatively quiet and seems to perform well so far.

Every machine had died in short time. My new one starred making a grinding noise on the 2nd day. Which is how the others sounded before it started to have problems. If it works, it's great! Just never know when it will go out and I'm scared to leave it on.

This is one of the best purchases I've made. Worth every penny. I've used this every day since I have gotten it. I cannot wait until I can host a party and show off this beauty. The ice is a real pleasure. When I ordered it, I felt like I didn't need the side tank but now having used the machine I can't imagine not having it. It makes a real difference. Don't hesitate. Just make the purchase - you won't regret it.

I did not know that you could keep the ice maker going around the clock. I thought it was just for special occasions. We have not stopped it from making ice for two weeks since we bought it. The noise complaints by others are unwarranted. It is not very noisy at all.

This thing is a beast that and putting out ice within 10 minutes. It isn't loud at all (low-volume hum while making ice). Didn't realize the obsession with nugget ice but now I see the light. It is extremely high quality and appears built to last. While cleaning/maintenance is a required bit more than most other appliances, it's well worth it. This machine consistently puts out perfect nugget ice. It looks premium and perfectly matches our stainless kitchen appliances. The internal reservoir alone is enough to fill the ice bin. We keep the external tank packed away and plan to bring it out for parties (just 2 of us otherwise). Looking forward to gourmet nugget ice for years to come!

Great quality ice machine! There is a little issue but I can deal with it. The design that the meted ice water goes back into the fill tank is great, except that means when you open to get ice, the condensation on bottom of ice tray drips water all over the counter. Other than that- this makes the best nugget ice!
