I'm a self-described pebble ice aficionado, and the ice produced by this machine is just as good as Sonic or Chick-Fil-A's. I'm so happy to finally have the good ice anytime I want it. The machine is quiet and well-designed, and even though the ice bin isn't refrigerated, the ice stays good in it for several hours without melting or clumping too much. This was a bit of an indulgent investment for me, but I'm so happy with it. I held off buying one of these because reviews for the first version were iffy, but the 2.0 has been great so far. As long as it lasts a long time without breaking down, I would rate it 10 stars if I could.

Hook is a breeze when you follow directions haha. Super easy to hook up. Produces ice fast. Has WiFi which gives you the ability to turn it off when you are away from the house for a long period of time. If you are using an iPhone, you can access the Wi-Fi settings for the app by logging into the appliance through your phone: Settings—-> Wi-Fi——> Wi-Fi should load appliance, click the appliance—->> now you're connected to your appliance, go back to the SnartHQ app! Really wish they would honor a extended warranty on these guys

We've had 2 of these ice makers and they ALWAYS break. I cleaned it every week and descaled it every 2 to 3 weeks. It makes a high pitched noise. The These ice machines were not made for last longer than 8 months. That's a lot of money to spend in a product that doesn't last long.

As advertised! Soft ice in my opinion is one of the best inventions ever. Spending the purchase price was something I struggled with for some time however I do not regret it one bit. Great unit, amazing soft ice, and a very attractive appliance to boot. Not for everyone, but for those who enjoy this type of ice, this unit will not disappoint!

Ice maker makes ice very fast and perfect ice size. Ice box fills up fast. Does tend to melt if not used quickly, but makes new ice just as quick. We are very pleased with this ice maker and have told several friends how great it is and they also have purchased one also.

We absolutely love the ice this makes. It is simple to use, simple to clean, and produces enough ice for the day. The only bad part about this: The ice bin does not have a cooler feature. It allows the ice to melt and recycles the water to make more ice. So, essentially, if you don't keep using it to make fresh ice or 2 people fill up big cups with ice, the second person gets partially melted, wet ice which in turn, melts faster in the drink and waters it down. I would like to see an upgraded bin that is insulated to keep the ice longer before melt. It's a little pricy but the ice maker performs well, looks stunning, and makes great tasting ice all day and night.

I am so happy that I finally treated my family with this little gem!!! We all LOVE our new ice maker. It makes ice so FAST! We love the smalls pieces it makes. I'm so glad that I finally made this purchase after taking so long to decide. I wished I would have purchased sooner!

This thing makes ice fast, and it is good ice. I have tried other brands, but nothing compares. Has Wi-Fi, so you can schedule it to come on in the morning and before you get home from work. Keeps up with lots of people, so it is also good for parties. It is quite large so get ready for it to take up counter space, and it is heavy. The cleaning routine is not hard but you need to move it near a sink to drain it. The nose could be quieter but it is not annoying.

After months of contemplating this purchase to supplement my refrigerator ice maker that freezes up, I finally pulled the trigger and am so glad I did. While there is some maintenance/cleaning involved and it's a little noisy, the pros more than outweigh the cons. The ice maker keeps up with our household demands, which are fairly high, and having the nugget ice is just an added benefit. I do not regret spending the amount I did to purchase this.

We have had the Scotsman pebble ice makers for years but with the family size shrinking, no need for the larger bin of pebble ice. This product produces beautiful pebble ice without the need for a separate water line to be installed and no drain pump is required. Easy peasy.
