This is a wonderful ice machine. It was easy to set up. The WIFI choice is really nice. The only issue is that the on/off button requires a very slight/ light touch to turn off, so I've turned it off unintentionally a couple of times. However, it makes the ice so quickly that it was minimal inconvenience.

The picture shows it having ice full to the brim but it actually doesn't keep the ice cold enough to not melt so the bottom melts out as the top condignly refills. what happens because the ice melts is it creates more of a ramp of ice running from the bottom of the where you see it to the spout at the top back where the ice comes out and then it stops making ice because the ice ramp is blocking the spout even thought the bucket isn't full. Even if you pull the bin out and shake it often I can never get the bucket to completely fill up like they have shown.

This is a all around awesome nugget ice maker. Perfect size,the installation is very simple,very very low noise and excellent production on the machine. Big capacity for the ice and the side tank pairs perfectly with it. Excellent item. Its a must have for all you nugget ice loving people. Well deserved 5 stars

Love that the ice maker is quiet. It automatically makes more ice to replenish what has been used. The only negative is I wish it could be directly connected to a water source. I am constantly filling up the water reservoir. I guess we just use too much ice! Its style is sleek and fits with any decoration. I love this sonic, crunchy ice!

I love the ice maker, works awesome. Makes ice very fast. I love the app function that keeps you in tune with the ice maker. Pros, it recycles the melted ice back to the side tank to remake ice. Cons, it takes up counter space. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

This ice maker is one awesome appliance. I have tried other nugget ice makers and the Opal beats them all hands down. It makes ice very quickly which is great since all five of us are getting ice through out the day and have never run out. The Opal is no louder than a mini fridge when it's running. It's very easy to setup and maintain.

This is my second GE Opal 2 ice maker. The first the ex took lol. My experience with the first Opal was great so I decide to buy another. The Opal works great, and the ice taste great also. It's easy to setup. I love the fact that it use the same water as it melts. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a ice maker

Once the machine has cycled through the water cycle for the first few minutes the ice starts coming out quickly. Impressed with the amount of ice made in the first few hours. Ice us just like Bob's Big Boy and Sonic ice! We got the machine with the side tank and it is so much easier to fill.

My, up until now, ice maker was going to be my favorite appliance. But today it just stopped making ice. It asked for more water but had a full reservoir of water. I turned it off and on again in the hopes to recycle it. Nope. Tonight I unplugged it, removed the water reservoir, inspected the connections on the backside, plugged it in and waited. It finally gave me ice! Hoping device doesn't have a gremlin!

I love nugget ice and absolutely love this ice maker. I was actually surprised how quickly it makes ice. We go through a lot of ice in my household and this machine is able to keep up. We just had our first cookout of the spring and summer and I was able to bag some ice ahead of time to be able to keep up with demand.
