This ice is the best! A couple things I wish were different are how often it needs cleaned- the ice starts tasting funny after a few days and the machine needs cleaned... didn't expect it to be this often and it's a little bit of a process to clean it. Also the hq app constantly says no internet when I have full internet- so I have to close out and try again just to chance one thing on a schedule, and often times even closing out of it, it does the same thing- it's super frustrating! Am I glad I have it? Yes. Would I spend this amount on it knowing what I know now? No!

This ice maker is very efficient, puts out a great amount of ice, and is exactly the nugget ice we were looking for! Runs quieter than all 3 previous countertop ice makers we've owned. I wouldn't sell it if some offered me twice what I paid for it.

We love this ice machine! No lore weekly trips to chick fil a to buy ice I now have it in the comfort of my home when ever I want. Also if you love ice in your drinks make sure to get the one with the side tank so you never run out of ice or worry about constantly refilling the ice machine with water

I not only love this ice maker but I am in love with this ice maker. It's been life changing for me and others in my house. Easy to set up, clean, and use. Even with the hard calcified water I have, the ice taste really clean and purified. The app tells me when I need to clean it and love the smart features it has. Highly recommend if even just for the sonic style ice it offers. To top it off American made!

Love the ice maker. I opt to make ice a couple times a week and store it in an ice bucket in the freezer instead of keeping the ice maker on all the time. It doesn't keep it cold necessarily so what happens is it makes ice and fills up the bucket of the ice maker and then it does keep it cold for a little while but then, as the ice melts, the water goes back into the Reservoir and is used to refresh the ice made by the machine.

I love it - was purchased for my office and love the pearl ice and it's perfect for my office. little to no cleaning on this if you use filtered water. as the holding water container empties just fill it up and your ready to go again. that easy. Kind of expensive but you get what you pay for. I've been hearing around of 3 different other cheaper machines that others have purchased and they've already stopped working and I've told them MINE is still going with no issues.

The Opal ice maker is a must have if you have a huge family who loves ice! It makes a load of ice in no time and recycles the melted ice water so your machine always has ice. It also has an app which you can use to monitor your ice maker. A great buy!

I love this ice maker. The opal nuggets are so enjoyable in cocktails and keep my ice water cold and refreshing. I love the programmable function this ice maker has so I can have ice ready to go when I wake up. This machine will come in handy for pool season!

We are thrilled with our counter top ice maker!! Works perfectly and makes the best ice ever! We are “ice snobs” and have always enjoyed that soft chewy ice and would stop at stores to buy drinks that we knew had that kind of ice. Now we can have it at home. Easy to set up although instructions were a little unclear and so easy to operate. Wayyyy less money than the commercial machines and really all you need on a daily basis.

The nugget ice maker is great!! We started using it with filtered water from the refrigerator. Now we're getting 1 gallon jugs of distilled water because when the UPS driver delivered the ice maker he left a note with the box that said, “You'll love this ice maker, but trust me, use distilled water!” So that's what we are doing.
