15 Days after the warranty expired it is broken. I came in and it was making a loud banging noise so I shut it off. Then it made this screeching noise and shut off. I'm afraid to use it now. Expensive paperweight.

Works exactly like I wanted! Very pleased! Plenty of ice! Love having the side water tank, ability to schedule on/off times to ensure ice is plentiful when needed, the app when I need to turn ice machine & too lazy to get up. Great ice machine!!

We love our Opel Nugget Ice Maker.. it fast so you never run out of ice. Looks great in our beverage center, and we always use distilled water which is the best for an ice machine so we don’t have internal calcium buildup..!!

Way too expensive to not work at all times. Does not regularly make ice without having to shift the appliance. So very disappointed with this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best ice. Even with the small opal sized ice, the ice doesn’t melt fast. I like that it does constantly recycle as it sits in the machine. It’s not a cheap piece of equipment, but it’s definitely worth the investment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It makes great ice, but we are on our third ge profile opal.The first one lasted about 2 yrs, longer enough for the warranty to be out. The second one just over 6 months and it took a couple of months to get the warranty replacement after jumping thru hoops for several different case workers.Do this do that, try this, download this software now repeat all previous actions. Then get handed over to their supervisor to start over. Now the replacement is not working as it should and it is 3 months old, not pulling water from the side tank. Its cleaned every two weeks on schedule.

I purchased machine a couple weeks ago. For some reason I put a filter in it and it worked for a week. Then all of a sudden it would stop making ice and say “ Add Water”. Both tanks had water. Took filter out and started making ice again. I ordered new filter so I’m going to try it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this unit because it stated the assembly product dimensions are (LxWxH) 24.75 x 20.25 x 14.74. The G.E Profile they sent was (LxWxH) 17.5 x 13.43 x 16.5. When I contacted GE they stated that they do not make a unit that is 14.75 inches tall. I am completely unhappy that this unit states the wrong size in height.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Started off good... 16 months later it started squealing as it made ice. Now at 18 months we woke up to water all over the counter. Thought maybe there was an issue with the hose but when I leaned it back over the sink to get the rest of the water out I watched water leak out of the body of the ice maker. Also the water tank design is poor, we only run filtered water in it and it always has deposits in the tank when cleaning and you have the smallest opening to try and clean it out.
