Great TV ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ✔ OLED Brightness Boost The C5 uses LG's latest OLED evo panel with a subtle brightness bump over last year's C3. While it's not as bright as the G4's MLA panel, the C5 still performs extremely well for HDR movies and dark-room viewing. ✔ Perfect Blacks & Infinite Contrast This is where OLEDs dominate. The 77-inch C5 delivers: Truly infinite contrast Perfect black levels Zero blooming around bright objects Night scenes in films look incredibly cinematic with rich shadows and amazing depth. ✔ Color Accuracy & Tone Out of the box, color accuracy is excellent. Dolby Vision content looks especially stunning. Skin tones are natural, and high-brightness highlights pop without clipping.

Upgrade from A1

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG C5 77” OLED has completely transformed my home theater setup. The picture quality is nothing short of breathtaking — deep, inky blacks, vibrant colors, and incredibly sharp detail. HDR movies look cinematic, and the brightness is more than enough for both daytime and nighttime viewing. Gaming on this TV is on another level. The 144Hz refresh rate, low input lag, and VRR support make everything feel buttery smooth, whether I'm playing fast-paced shooters or open-world games. It's easily the best gaming experience I've had on a TV. The webOS interface is fast and intuitive, and the Magic Remote makes navigating apps effortless. Setup was simple, and the TV looks sleek and premium on the wall. If you're considering a large OLED, the C5 is absolutely worth it. The combination of performance, size, and features makes it a fantastic buy. I couldn't be happier with this purchase — highly recommended!

Great picture!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Photos and videos do not do this TV justice. Once it was set up in the home, wow! LG offered free wall mount installation and the crew that installed were very professional. Overall, this was a great experience.

The best TV for the money you spend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would give the LG OLED77C5PUA a 5-star rating. Here's why: This TV offers an incredible viewing experience. The OLED evo panel delivers deep, perfect blacks and vibrant colors, while the α9 Gen 8 processor makes upscaling and motion handling feel really smart and natural. For gamers, the high refresh rate and VRR support mean smooth gameplay, which is hard to beat at this size. The smart features are modern and flexible, and the audio is more than adequate for most users — though serious audio enthusiasts might still want a soundbar or surround setup. There are some minor trade-offs (like brightness not being blinding in all modes, or the remote feel), but they're relatively small considering the overall performance and image quality. The 77″ screen is a real centerpiece, turning your living room into a cinematic space. If you're looking for a large OLED TV that balances picture quality, gaming features, and smart functionality without going into ultra-premium flagship pricing, this is an outstanding pick. Highly recommended.

Very Impressed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the LG C5 77-inch for a little while now and it has been amazing. The picture quality is the first thing that really stood out to me. The colors look rich, the screen is extremely sharp, and movies look almost like they're playing in a theater. Bright scenes and dark scenes both look great. I've also been really impressed with how smooth it is for gaming. The response feels instant and everything looks very clear, especially in fast games. The built-in apps work well and the menu is easy to use, so I haven't had any issues finding what I need. The sound quality is good for a thin TV. I still prefer using a soundbar for movies, but on its own it's definitely better than expected. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase. The TV looks great in my space and I feel like I got really strong value for the money. I would definitely recommend the LG C5 to anyone looking for a great OLED TV.

Great picture quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Went to a local store to check out all of the TVs and decided that OLED was the way to go for best picture quality. After doing some research, I settled on a 77" C5 for the best picture quality for gaming and movies. Really happy with my purchase and I will continue to be an LG customer for years to come!

Best Purchase This Year!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded to the LG 77” C5 OLED evo AI, and after a few weeks of use, I can confidently say it's one of the best TVs I've ever owned. The picture quality is the first thing that grabbed me. Colors look incredibly vibrant, and the blacks are truly pitch-black. HDR movies pop off the screen, and even regular HD channels look sharper thanks to the AI processing, which genuinely makes older content look cleaner and more detailed. Gaming on this TV is a dream. With all four HDMI 2.1 ports and ultra-low input lag, my PS5 and Xbox Series X feel more responsive than ever. Fast motion stays smooth, and the clarity during action scenes is impressive. The design is sleek and modern, and even though the TV is huge, it doesn't feel bulky. WebOS is quick, easy to use, and switching between apps is instant. The only downside is the built-in speakers—they're fine, but a soundbar makes a big difference. Overall, the LG C5 has transformed my movie nights and gaming sessions. It's definitely a premium TV, but if you're looking for an upgrade that delivers stunning quality, this one is worth every penny.

The King of Contrast Returns

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tv is simply one of the best-looking TVs you can buy in 2025. It delivers perfect blacks and infinite contrast that make HDR content absolutely pop. Shadows are inky deep, bright highlights explode off the screen without blooming, and every scene—from moody noir films to sun-drenched nature documentaries—looks stunningly lifelike. Colors are rich yet natural, motion handling remains buttery smooth for sports and gaming, and the improved peak brightness over last year's C4 means it holds its own even in moderately bright rooms. Viewing angles are predictably flawless, so the picture stays impeccable no matter where you sit. If you want a massive 77-inch screen that makes movies and games feel cinematic, the LG C5 is hard to beat. Contrast and picture quality are reference-level—everything else is just a bonus.

A Major Upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My space is inherently dark due to having a night time occupation. The infinite contrast of the WOLED panel makes the picture pop. I previously had a 10 year old curved panel and it was lovely but after seeing my best friend's C1 I knew I wanted to eventually grab one of these myself. Gaming plays a small role in my life and the ability to have 120 hz refresh for my Xbox and PS5 was a huge factor in my choice. Games look amazing, the latency is almost non-existent and they look better than they ever have before when compared to what I previously had. The only issue I have is WebOS and the settings menu. WebOS is fine, I just don't need it to be there when I turn the TV on. The settings menus seem lacking for the quality of this set. I like to tinker and while I can't articulate what's missing from the settings that I'd prefer to have, I can say it's annoying that things are grayed out when I should be able to control everything at any given moment. Overall, I'm very happy and will continue to work on perfecting my experience.

Amazing price for size and picture quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was choosing between G5 65" and C5 77", not regretting to go with larger screen. Amazing picture quality, but you need to supply quality source as well, for some youtube 4K hdr videos is still has noticeable shuttering. When you give it proper source this TV shines, nature documentaries on netflix has it! You definitely need separate sound system to get most of it.
