[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was an upgrade from my 7 year old LG OLED. I went from 65" B7A to a 77" C5. The difference is already apparent. The original is still a great set and is moving to the living room. But the increased size in my home theater setup is amazing. It's also much brighter, especially with HDR and Dolby Vision content. Upscaling from lower def content is also much more refined. All in all a great set. If I had one complaint it would be the new design magic remote. So far I'm not a fan. Clumsy layout to use, no mute button, and doesn't fit in my hand near as well. But this is a small issue as I don't use the remote day to day. Highly recommended.

Additionally, the TV's sound system is very good as well. The bass was decent and there was enough clarity that I'd still be happy even without a home theater setup.

It's especially strong for movies and gaming, offering fast response times, low input lag, and full HDMI 2.1 support on all ports. The TV handles HDR well, producing rich contrast and impressive detail, and LG's webOS platform remains smooth and easy to navigate. While the C5 is brighter than earlier C-series models, it still isn't as bright as some high-end Mini-LED or QD-OLED competitors, which can matter in rooms with a lot of direct sunlight. Reflection handling is good but, like most OLEDs, not perfect in very bright environments. Overall, the LG C5 is a fantastic balance of performance and value—ideal for movie lovers, gamers, and anyone who wants premium image quality without stepping up to a more expensive flagship model.

After doing some research, I settled on a 77" C5 for the best picture quality for gaming and movies. Really happy with my purchase and I will continue to be an LG customer for years to come!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got the 77" C5 set up and the panel is gorgeous. It handles bright rooms way better than older OLEDs and the gaming features are top-tier. Just wanted to drop a warning for anyone mounting this themselves: check your stud distance! I have 20-inch spacing and the default setup didn't work; it maxes out at 16-inch width. Had to pause the install to get a mount that actually spanned the gap. Great TV, just plan ahead for the install.

I was looking for an upgrade , I am so happy to get an LGC577 inch TV . [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LG is the pacesetter for oled TVs and the massive 83 inch oled C5 doesnt dissapoint. Blackest blacks. Moderate refresh rate makes movies, sports, and the casual videogames come to life. Once you go OLED you wont go back to LCD, QLED, or whatever new term they use to sugar coat it.

It can take any game or movie and make it better than you remember the last time you saw it on a different TV! Even the sound is great and really brings what is on screen to life! The remote is well laid out and is easy to use and has all the important buttons right where you would expect them to be. Overall one of the best family purchases we've made in a long time!
