Size was a limitation and the newer 2026 model did not offer much of an upgrade over the 2025 model. An additional positive is I have been able to take advantage of the Auracast feature for consumers who are hard of hearing and have compatible hearing aids. I'm also excited about the future WebOS updates that come with this purchase. The only minor negative is there are no inputs for legacy AV components. Fortunately, my old VCR/DVD combo has an HDMI output. Very happy to add a second LG OLED TV to my home.

On my old TV, the Upside Down was just a muddy grey blur, but this screen brought it to life with perfect, inky blacks and terrifying detail. I already own a 77-inch LG OLED C3, so this comparison comes from real-world use. Even though the size difference between 77 inches and 83 inches doesn't seem large on paper, it is very noticeable in practice. Installed in a dedicated media room, the 83-inch screen feels significantly more immersive and delivers a true home-theater experience. Another pleasant surprise is the sound quality. For a TV, it's much better than expected—clear dialogue, decent bass, and a fuller soundstage compared to most flat-panel TVs. It's good enough that you don't immediately feel the need for a soundbar. The new webOS UI feels smooth, modern, and responsive.
