Been through many hurricanes and never needed a generator until hurricane Florence. Bought the generac two days before the storm hit. Lost power the night of the storm. Started the generator on the first pull the next morning and it ran 4 days straight without any issues. Great product. Thanks Generac!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This generator is perfect, nice heavy duty with the ability to run gasoline, liquid propane or natural gas fuel source. It is easy to switch between settings. It is heavy but with the wheels is portable and easy to move. It definitely makes noise, but to be expected with the size of generator and it's tolerable. Perfect for emergency/power outages, job sites/ tools and camping. Well worth the investment if looking for generator, especially with the tri fuel option!!

We used this generator less than 50- hours. When we needed it again summer of 2020 we discovered the generator burned!!! Very DISAPPOINTED We had to use an older 10- year old Briggs and Stratton that started up right away. We are currently waiting on new generator to be ordered and delivered , due to Covid reasons it's taken this long. We pray once a new generator is installed it will work great for us for years to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you so much for letting me test out this generator. It is so easy to use. I did have help setting it up as it was very heavy. Once we got it on the wheels it was a breeze to maneuver. This feature helps to get it out of storage once it is actually needed. This generator works great and without jinxing myself I can't wait to use it. This generator will have enough power to operate all of my essential appliances if the power happens to go out. I can't say enough good things about it!!

The generator owners up our whole with the exception of the AC. Fuel consumption is very reasonable. The wheels and handle Asm make moving the Gen.around easy. Easy to start and operate. Intuitive controls. My only complaint is the absolutely annoying resonance noise from the fuel tank. The tank itself has rubber bushings but with a steel sleeve on the ID. Effectively nullifying any dampening of the rubber itself. A very cordial talk with an authorized Generac repair shop didn't solve the issue. The shop was aware of the noise but couldn't offer a remedy that was any better than my piece of carpet with a brick on top. We both laughed about it but really, Generac should have done a better job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Generac GP9500E is a portable generator capable of using gasoline, liquid propane or natural gas (Tri-fuel). With electric start and wheeled cart, this generator is easy for anyone to use. 9.5 hour run time on gasoline, (7.5 gal) 4.5 hours on a 20lb propane tank (when used at 50% power). Used a CO2 sensor to automatically stop and alert user to dangerous levels. Included are engine oil, battery, and 4 foot LP hose with regulator. Weighs in at 219 lbs and includes a 3 year limited warranty. Has (covered) 2 standard 120v 20 amp plug receptacles, one 120/240v 30 amp twist lock receptacles, and one 120v/240v 50 amp heavy duty outlet. HomeLink manual transfer compatible. This generator replaced our old one that was not push start- what a pain in the butt. This one is easy enough for anyone to switch on- not just strong people. Smooth running and much quieter that our previous portable. The ability to run three different fuel sources is just fantastic. MADE IN THE USA Can't go wrong with Generac brand generators. Provides peace of mind that you can preserve freezer and refrigerator contents when the power goes out or for RV use. Very happy with this generator, highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This generator is a beast! The craftmanship is great, and it's a whopping 220+ lbs. Perfect for generating an entire house with no difficulty. Excellent quality and packed with care. I'd recommend it to anyone who could use it. It is worth every penny!

Bought the 6500 in 2015 after losing power for 5 days after a storm. I went with Generac because of the trusted name and reviews. Recently lost power in a winter storm for two days. This baby ran for 48 hours straight through a transfer switch and powered my heat, two refrigerators, three tv's, all my lights no problem! Best $800.00 i ever spent.

I needed something in a hurry. Looking for a Japanese product. My friend owns two ACE hardware stores. They only carried Generac. Made in America. Shucks! He told me Generac made top quality stuff. I bought mine in a jam. Delighted. This baby longs to start up! Dying to start up! on the first pull. Reliable, noisy as all get out-no problem. I surround it with some boards-it produces tons of power. Runs forever. I will buy another one. You will love yours .

Shopped around for other makes and always came back to the Generac reviews. Price is good. The company I bought it from Assembled it for me at no extra cost.I put in the oil and gas and started on the first pull. Tried all Receptacles on the generator. All worked. Bought it as a stand by in case we lose power.Good product
