Great Product, lives up to its reputation.

I have used Generac products for years during my career. In all cases my experience was positive. Recently becoming victim to a severe storm at my lake house, I found myself needing back up power. I went online to several retailers and found Generac at a somewhat near store. I purchased the unit and can say it performed as expected, zero issues. Assembly was simple, start up effortless. Ran without issue until power restored.

Overall excellent product

I recently installed a power inlet box to my breaker panel and purchased this generator to to power the house in case of a power outage. I have tested it a couple times now and it works great. Electric start would be nice but its really not needed. This generator is easy to pull start and starts on the 1st pull every time.

Great value

Bought this generator for home backup in preparation of hurricane season. Compared to other generators at the store it offered the most features for the price. Put the oil and fuel, hit the electric start button and it started right up. Ran it for about 15-20 minutes and found no issues. Looking forward to having electricity next time a hurricane comes though.

An upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This generator is fantastic in quality, as one would expect from the leaders in generators. We live in Florida and store insulin along with medical equipment that has to be charged regularly so this is a must for power outages. I hated not knowing if we'd have enough gas to last us, but having three fuel sources relieves my mind. Our house has natural gas already, and we regularly have multiple LP tanks, so it's nice not having to worry about gas fumes from storing gasoline or trying to find gas during storm prep unless we want to. It's a bit large for traveling with it, but this would be an awesome unit for camping if you need a lot of plug-ins powered up and have a truck bed to load it on. The unit itself is easy to start, and easy enough to wheel around short distances. It has multiple outlets to connect into, and a panel to show how long it's running. It's really simple to use, although we have solar on our house so we can't connect into the main panel without some extra costs, so extension cords are the maximum of our experience so far. The unit is quieter than our previous model despite it being larger.

Great to have as a backup for extreme weather

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in a place that is prone to have extreme climate, and sometimes the power can go out when it's either too hot or too cold. A generator is a necessity for those occasions, particularly to help keep the house at an adequate temperature - whether by powering AC or help turn on space heaters and/or fans. What I like about this product is that it is tri fuel - it can work with gasoline, propane, and natural gas, depending on your needs. We tested it out with gasoline and it worked just fine. Gasoline is also how you can get the most wattage and longest run time. Noise level is pretty ok as well, about what expected for a generator this big. The unit is very heavy, which makes a little bit tricky to get it out of the box for the first time. But once you install the wheels and handle, moving it around becomes super easy. Assembly would also be easier if it included the hex tool, but otherwise it was ok and pretty straightforward. We now need a natural gas hookup so we can have the option to use any of three methods it needed.

You absolutely need this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Y'all!! This generator is huge! Built to last and so quiet to use! Being able to use 3 fuels makes it accessible! Was so easy to assemble and easy to maneuver with its handles and wheels! It powers our big farm house with ease! Definitely going to be a big help during power outages or whenever we need added/extra power!

Powerful, Flexible, and Reliable Backup for Hurric

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really impressed with the Generac GP9500E Tri Fuel Generator! It's very well-built and feels super sturdy. It is quite heavy, though, so I definitely recommend having two people to lift it if needed. Once you get the wheels installed, it becomes much easier to move around. The setup was pretty straightforward, there aren't too many pieces, and I was actually able to put it together by myself, though it would go faster with two people. I'm especially glad to have this generator since I live in Florida, where hurricane season can easily knock out the power. Last year, we couldn't use our submersible water pump to prevent flooding during a storm because we lost power, so having this generator as a backup gives me so much more peace of mind. I also love that it runs on gasoline, propane, or natural gas, just with the turn of a dial. It's super flexible and reliable, and I love that the COsense technology adds extra safety by automatically shutting down the generator if dangerous carbon monoxide levels are detected. Overall, I'm really happy with this unit and feel much more prepared for the next hurricane season!

Easy to assemble and use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Where to start! This thing is heavy! After reading the instructions assembly seemed easy enough! It was about 30 minutes for assembly. I like that it has wheels making i extremely easy to move. The handle locks in place to move it and unlocks to store it. We are in the Midwest in an old neighborhood that has consistent power outages. This will make those days so much less stressful! We added the oil and fuel. It had a gage to show how much fuel is in it. After connecting the battery it took a couple of tries to start, I am guessing allowing for the fuel to cycle through. It has a push start and a pull start. It tells you hw much run time it has which is really convenient. You just push the button to stop. It was not extremely loud I would say comparable to a lawn mower in way of noise. It has a consistent run time of 10 hours which is great we've never been without power quite that long! It has 4 outlets. This has a 30 amplifier fpe 240 volts with a gfi outlet.
