[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have always enjoyed a lovely mix of birds at our feeders but it seems like the number has doubled since using this, and now we have way more chipmunks and squirrels (and even raccoons at night) showing up to grab some of these seeds! For the amount of seeds in the bag this is a great value. My husband joked that he was going to eat them himself. If you want to give the wildlife in your yard a high quality seed then I recommend these sunflower hearts. This bag will probably last us the rest of the season, but next year I hope to try some of their other seed blends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was a little frustrated with shells and such all over the deck, due to the wife’s insistence on having bird feeders. I like these sunflower hearts because there are no shells to make a mess. Use the other bird seeds in the yard, but on the deck or patio, use sunflower hearts. Plus, you can throw a handful of these in your mouth now and then. Birds seem to enjoy them, but they last longer than I’d thought that they might, so that’s a good thing.

All of the birds seem to be gathered at one of my six bird feeders where I poured a mixture of regular bird seed in and the sunflower hearts, and I put extra sunflower hearts all around the edges of the feeders, now they seem to be attracting more Cardinals.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Make sure you have a closed in bird feeder for this feed. Mine is open and after the last rain it started sprputing as you can see in the picture. It is great feed I just need a new feeder. It will work well nive big bag.

As you can see from the photo our turkey family that visits our yard regularly loves them too! They emptied the feeder in record time. Our critters in our yard live in peaceful harmony. The larger birds and animals feed from the feeder and the smaller ones eat the seeds that fall under the feeder. You could tell they were really loving these because I have never heard them eat more noisily and excitedly and also they ate it very quickly. So beautiful. I am so excited that Audubon Park has the 100% sunflower hearts now. I don't miss finding all the empty shells lying around. Much cleaner. Despite what you would think from my description above, the feeder seems to stay fuller longer. I assume this is because the average size birds, which make up the bulk of my visitors, fill up much quicker with this seed which is pure food. I hope that this food will be available for purchase at all the Walmart's from now on. We are always picking up a bag of seed every time we go out to the store so it would be super convenient to always be able to find our favorite brand and type whichever one we go to. As you can tell we are really pleased at the quality of this new pure Sunflower Hearts food Audubon Park has created.

I like that the bag has a handle but no zip or closure on the bag so you will have to put in an air tight container. No big deal, I have a old trash can with tight fitting lid. I have several bird feeders and usually purchase the black oil sunflower seeds but they leave a mess. All the husk but this seeds has none! My birds seem to like it.

I put this out in my yard and compared it to my normal bird seed. I could not believe the results. The birds flocked to the sunflower seeds. They keep coming back for more. No pieces, just whole seeds. This is the real stuff. Audubon seemed to please even the most finicky birds. We had a variety of sparrows, crows, and even the squirrels.

The next day, all I have are empty shells in the feeder. When I saw they had sunflower seeds already shelled, I thought the birds would love it. Apparently not, I filled my feeder yesterday and went back to refill it today. There was no need to refill. I’m really baffled by this. I wish I knew what they didn’t want the easier sunflower seeds but they don’t.
