[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Audubon Park bird feed! It's all sunflower hearts, which means no waste and no mess. With regular sunflower seeds, the birds would waste half of it! There would be so much on the ground and that brought in the squirrels. These sunflower hearts are what the birds are after, not the shells. The cardinals really love this stuff. I've never seen so many in my life! It brings many other birds around, but the cardinals are my favorite. This feed came in a huge 15 lb bag. Enough to last for months. I'm very happy with it and would recommend this to bird lovers!

I am surprised by the size of the bag, 15 pounds which should last a very long time and I know birds will love them. Audubon products have a wonderful reputation for quality and you cannot go wrong with purchasing this! Dog approved too!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first time that I've had a birdfeeder and needed bird feed. The sunflower hearts looked good enough to eat by the handful - but of course I didn't. When I filled the birdfeeder, and hung it, the feed flowed to the bottom but not out of it - I was afraid it might happen because of their relatively small size, but they worked great. It took probably a day maybe a day and a half for the birds to show up. Since then I've seen robins, finches, cardinals, even hummingbirds (who knew they liked feed?), and other ones I can't identify eating at the feeder. So apparently they love it! Two minor complaints: one is that the handle on the bag comes off when pulling it open so there's no easy way to move the bag after opening it other than just grabbing the whole bag and lifting it. There's also no way to close the bag after opening either. As I said two minor (very minor) issues, otherwise an excellent product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband bought a bird feeder a couple of years ago, it’s on the fence where we can see from the kitchen window over the sink. Also when sitting on the patio. It’s nice watching the birds enjoy their food. We live in the northeast, I always try to google if I don’t know what kind of bird is at the bird feeder. So usually my husband gets a small bag of tiny type seeds, the black birds spill it out & the feeder is empty in a day. I got the big bag , 15 lbs of Sunflower Hearts Wild Bird Food, first it has an easy carry handle on it, I liked that. My husband filled the feeder 4 days ago and the birds come & eat and it’s not getting tossed all over. I cant identify all but love seeing the variety of birds at the bird feeder. I’ve seen a few cardinals, male & female, some different finch & other small birds I couldn’t figure out. The usual black black birds, and they cant toss the seeds all over. There is a beautiful woodpecker with a bright red head. Some blue jays too. ( and more ) This Sunflower Hearts Wild Bird Food is great in our bird feeder, the seeds flows out enough to feed from but not fast for the birds to spill it. It attracts lots of birds, the feeder is always busy. So you know the birds love it too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I buy the regular sunflower seeds to put in my bird feeder. Normally the birds go crazy for it. The next day, all I have are empty shells in the feeder. When I saw they had sunflower seeds already shelled, I thought the birds would love it. Apparently not, I filled my feeder yesterday and went back to refill it today. There was no need to refill. I’m really baffled by this. I wish I knew what they didn’t want the easier sunflower seeds but they don’t.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always wanted a yard full of happy birds feasting off seeds in my yard. I have a bird house in both my front and backyard and the birds are really enjoying these sunflower seeds. I'm also very happy with the size of this seed bag.

First two orders were great but afterwards I started finding lots of shells more and more. This last order that I just received 2/3/2022 was awful. It was full of shells , dried fruits, corn, squash seeds, sunflowers with seeds and garbages. I was very disappointed. I had a bag on hold in my cart I removed it. I rather pay for more and received a better quality merchandise. Unfortunately, It seems to me there is no consistency in this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This high quality wild bird food is pure sunflower hearts, absolutely no shells. I chose these sunflower hearts for our Missouri doves. The few doves that have not yet flown south eat first, then let the sparrows eat the rest. Placing handfuls of sunflower hearts on the outside sill of our south-facing windows allows the birds to eat in a safe, sunny spot, without squirrels bothering them. Plus we get to watch our happy birds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have always enjoyed a lovely mix of birds at our feeders but it seems like the number has doubled since using this, and now we have way more chipmunks and squirrels (and even raccoons at night) showing up to grab some of these seeds! For the amount of seeds in the bag this is a great value. My husband joked that he was going to eat them himself. If you want to give the wildlife in your yard a high quality seed then I recommend these sunflower hearts. This bag will probably last us the rest of the season, but next year I hope to try some of their other seed blends.

Attracts birds like a charm. I am in New York City, so while blackbirds, sparrows and mourning doves are everywhere, orioles, finches, chickadees, and titmice are not that common. They regularly visit my window though, along with a single squirrel who climbs to a fifth story window to get to these seeds.
