The seeds are whole and my birds like them better than the other bands that are mostly chips. Plus it is a very good price.

This is my new favorite seed for birds! The seeds are a nice size much better than the sunflower chips from other manufacturers.

as expensive as sunflower kernels our you get a much bigger bag for the price. the finches love it better than thistle.

these are the best value and quality out there. Many others advertise theirs as hearts but are a combination of whole hearts and pieces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love to have my gardens filled with birds so I have numerous bird feeders/baths/houses scattered throughout. The primary birds in my area are finches & barn sparrows so I encourage them to visit, eat & enjoy my garden along with me. Not all bird seeds are created equal & they respond better to some. This is one. They love this seed mix & have been chirping & singing ever since I put it out. It's such fun to watch. They're not only eating everything in the feeders but all the seed which drops to the ground. I think I must have attracted more when I switched to this mix. They love it.. so I love it.

I like that the bag has a handle but no zip or closure on the bag so you will have to put in an air tight container. No big deal, I have a old trash can with tight fitting lid. I have several bird feeders and usually purchase the black oil sunflower seeds but they leave a mess. All the husk but this seeds has none! My birds seem to like it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have always enjoyed a lovely mix of birds at our feeders but it seems like the number has doubled since using this, and now we have way more chipmunks and squirrels (and even raccoons at night) showing up to grab some of these seeds! For the amount of seeds in the bag this is a great value. My husband joked that he was going to eat them himself. If you want to give the wildlife in your yard a high quality seed then I recommend these sunflower hearts. This bag will probably last us the rest of the season, but next year I hope to try some of their other seed blends.
