I bought this a month ago after moving into our new (very old) house that is still under reconstruction after mold remediation. As you can imagine there is endless contractor messes and dust. This vacuum is a game changer! I was able to vacuum fully under a very dusty king size bed by adjusting the handle to the bendy-swivel setting (The bed arrived while I wasn’t home and my husband set it up without cleaning the floors first). I also have a lot of allergies which makes dumping the dust canister in any vacuum, a challenging event. This is game changer #2.. push a button and it all goes into a storage can. I haven’t had to empty this yet as it holds quite a lot. The battery lasts longer than expected and allowed me to thoroughly vacuum about 1,000 sq’ plus the stairs before dying. This came as a package with the VacMop which is also a helpful tool. It works great but I would still recommend vacuuming first unless it’s a smaller clean up. I don’t like chemicals and prefer natural cleaners. I use a vinegar based, organic floor cleaner in the VacMop and it works great.

I was switching from low carpet to tile to high rugs no problem. It is a little loud when it’s on the highest suction but it was picking up dust that my other vacuum has clearly been missing. The empty chamber seems to hold a lot and has a scented odor neutralizing filter in it. Oh and it also has lights so you can see what you’re vacuuming up! 10/10 one of the best vacuums I’ve had.

I love this thing! To begin with, it's my first cordless vacuum, which means it's far less heavy, cumbersome and restrictive to use. And it seems to be as powerful as my old, corded model, so no compromise there. I especially like how easy it is to separate and connect the components, allowing me to have a hand-held unit at the press of a button. Last---and certainly not least---is the clean and empty system, which frees me from constantly having to empty the dustbin. Genius. One other thing: this vacuum is attractive and compact enough to be stored in plain sight in a corner of my kitchen, making it easy to grab and use far more often than I had before. Bottom line? A cleaner home with far less effort. Very pleased!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the versatility of this vacuum. Everything a normal vacuum does but this also BENDS to get under furniture and hard to reach places, it has ATTACHMENTS to get in crevices and you can make it a hand held vacuum to do your couch or your car. Battery life is really great . Little on the noisy side but I can definitely live with that in exchange for easier and better cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is fantastic! Great for stairs. I LOVE the auto-empty feature, charging stand, and the fact that you can make it not auto-empty if you’re trying to make less noise. Shark has made me a total convert from the “fancy” expensive vacuums.

Switched to Shark from Dyson and could not be happier. Battery life is great, suction is powerful, and the auto empty is a game changer! Been using for the past two weeks and it works perfectly for my hardwood floors and area rugs. Only downside with the auto detect mode is that it is too powerful for smaller rugs and can crumple them, prompting me to stop and restart the vacuum.

I bought this to replace a Dyson V8 which is a garbage product. I searched and searched until I thought I found the best product at the best price. I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with this piece of crap. Absolute garbage. It is actually worse than the Dyson V8. I have never regretted a purchase as much as I do this piece of garbage. Upon docking it in the auto empty thing, you need to make sure that it is making contact with the charging pins. Horrible design. The auto sense technology is garbage. You are better off to just put it on high speed and go about your business. The motor changes speeds constantly while vacuuming, and while on the lowest setting, it does an absolute crap job of picking anything up. I became very annoyed with Dyson after the V8 so I thought I would give Shark a go. Regret upon regret upon regret. ABSOLUTE GARBAGE PRODUCT.

I like the vacuum. I've had Shark vacs for years and was tired of the cords. This one is easy to grab and clean up quickly. It seems like the battery lasts a long time. I thought I'd like the flex feature, but I don't. It seems flimsy. It hasn't emptied into the container a couple of times on the 1st try. I probably could have gone with just the vacuum and not the whole empty system. The suction is excellent and adapts between vinyl flooring, rugs, and tile floors. I like the light feature on it, too. I do wish there was an under appliance accessory for this model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've recently upgraded my cleaning arsenal to the Shark Cordless PowerDetect Clean & Empty System. This game-changer features a sleek, cordless vacuum paired with a charging dock that doubles as an auto-emptying station. It is surprisingly compact and lightweight, making maneuvering around the house a breeze, and it also packs a powerful punch in the cleaning department. One of the standout features is the auto-empty dock. After a cleaning session, the vacuum docks and all the collected dirt, debris, and dust are automatically transferred to the bin in the dock. It's like magic — no more handling dirt or exposure to dust, which it claims to reduce by a staggering 1000x. But what blew me away was its ability to detect and capture significantly more gunk than any vacuum I've owned. The 70-minute runtime on a full charge is nothing to sneeze at, allowing me to clean the entire house on a single charge—with power to spare. Additionally, this system comes with built-in odor control, keeping the house smelling fresh post-clean. For those tricky spots or if you need a quick cleanup, the vacuum converts effortlessly into a hand vac. Plus, with different cleaning modes like BOOST for that extra power and ECO for conserving energy, it's adaptable to every cleaning need. In summary, the Shark Cordless PowerDetect System has been a total upgrade for me, making cleaning less of a chore and more satisfying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shark Cordless PowerDetect Clean & Empty System Vacuum left me underwhelmed. For the price, it feels flimsy, and the suction power falls short compared to competitors but it makes ir less noisy. The self-emptying base doesn’t add much value since you still have to empty it, and it takes up unnecessary space. It gets the job done, but it’s far from impressive.
