Open-ear comfort perfected

Shokz absolutely nailed it with these. They are the most comfortable headphones I’ve ever worn, and they stay comfortable even during extended use. The open-ear design is a major advantage because it keeps me aware of the world around me without sacrificing the listening experience. What really impressed me is the sound. For open-ear headphones, the audio quality is excellent—clear, enjoyable, and far better than I expected from this style. They strike a rare balance between comfort, awareness, and performance. My only recommendation would be an Apple collaboration for a special Apple Edition with Siri support built in more seamlessly. That would turn an already excellent product into something next-level.

Uncomfortable

Disappointed these we not bone conduction. Although they sound OK. They are just terribly uncomfortable. Can wear for about an hour before they are too painful. I contacted support to ask for a refund but never heard back. I have had many pairs of shokz before. I will not be buying again after this experience,

Not worth the price

No more comfort than the other models. So if that's are drive don't get these. the app features are limited for changing the audio. I don't like that it can't perform voice commands like answers a call, skip song, etc. The bigger problem is the battery life. It doesn't last nearly as long as advertised which to me is a bit of a scam.

My iPods would fall out. My iPods make my ear canal itchy!

Both the ShokZ Open Run Pro 2 and the Open Fit Pro stay in place all day and eliminate the itchy ear canal problem the occurs with the in-ear iPods. I would give the ShokZ 5 stars if I could adjust the angle of the speakers to align more closely to the ear canal. The position they currently have necessitated increasing the volume significantly.

Great product! Checks all the

Great product! Checks all the boxes! Battery last through out the day and longer. It’s clear sounding. While listening I can still hear the people i need to talk with. Best feature when you have skin issues on the inside of your ear these do not aggravate or make my ears to become inflamed since I am not having to cram them in ear.

Great sound but…. .

I’ve been using Shokz since their first banded style. I love the open ear concept. I definitely prefer the independent ear pieces. My only drawback is the fit. After wearing the for a few hrs the ear fatigue is real. I would love for them to try to make independent ear ones that sit in front of the ear similar to openruns. Also the button is quite small and when I wear these working I like to be able to pause but using my shoulder but can’t with these. Overall I’m happy with the purchase but this is what I would say can improve them.

Giving full 5

I'm a someone that is hard of hearing due to being deaf in my right ear. And these are the best ones I've had yet. They really help me hear what I need . Music and phone calls. Will be buying these again ! Wish could just buy two left ones sense I don't need the right one

More comfortable than all others

I've on ear "pods" overload and headset overload - - most are just NOT comfortable. These by far are about the best so far. Not in love with have to set-up with app, wish you could just connect direct with BT w/o app. Can keep on for several hours before they bother top of my ears, but I do wear glasses so that puts some pressue on them.

I’m impressed

I’ve always used the bone induction headsets because anything in my ears always hurt for extended wear. Once I figured out the setting for the sound quality and made sure my phone was set correctly, wow! The noice cancelling needs some work as that lovely high pitched siren randomly goes off. Pretty comfortable and the adjusters work for weird shaped heads like mine. I do wear glasses all the time and there is some issues when running/having to jostle around, only true complaint.

Don't expect a miracle

There's a lot of hype about the noise cancelling ability on these. . . but be realistic - they are still "open ear" design, so they are nowhere near as good as in-ear or over-the-ear headphones for cancelling out sound. I've found they are passable at reducing consistent noise - like air conditioning or fans, or road noise in a car. But they're not as good with background conversations or more random noises. That sound still comes through easily. And as far as sound quality, IMP, they sound better than the OpenRun Pro, but again, an in-ear or over-the-ear version sounds significantly better. I mainly bought them for cycling, and once the snow goes away, I'll see how they do with the wind noise.
