Overall, the headphones are good. I was expecting them to be able to drown out the sounds around. Based on that alone if I had known, I would not have purchased them.

Received really quick. The fit is great and the build quality is premium. The sound quality is exceptional. I did expect being open ear the sound to be bad. But I was surprisingly very wrong. They have an open sound, which I love. As for noise cancelling it's okay as long as you remember they are open air. The battery life is great. So far, I've had to charge the once a week. The only con that I've had is that they are little weighty for me after about 6 hours. That would be the quality materials.

These are awesome. I'm very impressed with the sound quality these have. I was skeptical but these are worth the price. These have great sound they are very comfortable to wear and best of all they stay on your ear while you are walking or any other activity that you do. I like the fact that they are not inside your ear canal. I've been using another brand same price but they kept falling out of my ear and I hated them and now with these, I don't have to worry about it anymore. I would definitely purchase these again and I highly recommend these.

I rarely write reviews, and as a very picky individual, this one was worth it. I had been going back and forth for a while between three different noise-canceling headphones, and I'm so glad I finally chose these. One of the biggest reasons I wanted something different was because I hated having AirPods sitting inside my ears, especially when they kept falling out. These are so much more comfortable for me. The packaging is nice, and I love the magnetic earbud case because the earbuds snap right into place, so I do not have to worry about losing them. The app is also easy to use. I can quickly see the battery level for each earbud and the case, change the EQ modes, and connect to two devices at once. I have mine connected to both my iPhone and laptop, and they automatically connect depending on which device I'm using. My favorite feature is how easy it is to switch between hearing everything around me or using noise cancellation during work meetings. There is even more in the app, but you really have to try it for yourself. The headphones were a little tricky at first to put on and find the right position, but after a few uses, I figured out what worked best for me. The included bud cushions helped keep them in place, and wished they come with two extra pairs. Overall, these are exactly what I needed and truly the best investment I've made in headphones.

After using my openfit pro's for a couple of weeks, I have been mostly impressed. The sound quality is quite good. The sound stage is immersive and very directional providing an aural treat. I use my earbuds paired with both my phone and my computer to listen to movies/tv shows, audiobooks, music and to take phone calls. I have them on for 10+ hours per day. They do tend to switch quite well from one device to the other based on current activity. However, I do have two complaints. The first is simple irritation of the top of my ear. As they are, they do eventually create a hot spot on the top of my ear. Additionally, Shokz provides a rubbery "stabilizer" to help keep them in place during workouts. This piece, though it does what it is designed for, does exacerbate the hot spot. Secondly, the only way to turn off the earbuds is to place them in the charging case. This forces the user to keep the charging case in their vicinity if they wish to turn them off. This sounds odd, but after working all day with these on, I tend to want to sit down and take them off. As I can't turn them off without the case, I have put them down on a table next to me and been unable to hear notifications from my phone as it is sending those sounds to the earbuds. The charging case is not huge, but having it in a pocket or actually on me all day is an annoyance. It would definitely be beneficial to be able to turn off the earbuds manually. I know it's a minor inconvenience and a nit pick, but it just feels unacceptable for a device of this caliber to have an inconvenient aspect like this.

Like them so far. About three weeks in. I use them most of the day. The battery life is great. Sound quality is great. Only issue I have when my phone is in my pocket and I turn my head sometimes I get some weird feedback.

These headphones are in a word, exellent. They deliver on noticeable noise reduction and provide high quality audio . Biggest criticism: I've owned most versions of openrun line and a openfit. These are the least comfortable of all by comparison which seems to be relates to their weight, they seem a bit on the heavier side. Even still, these earbuds have the undeniable mark of quality and I applaud Shokz for walking that fine line between between true ANC and noise reduction. Please, keep this going! Can't wait to try the Openfit Pro 2!

I got an e-mail from Shokz asking for a review; I do want to review them, but I've only had them for a couple weeks so it feels much less helpful than if I'd been using them for a year or two and they were still going strong. Sadly, I probably won't remember to review them in a year or two. . . That said, I got them largely because my partner is hard of hearing and phone calls with any kind of background noise or microphone issues really don't work for us (but I didn't wanna have a microphone arm because then the earbuds probably wouldn't fit in my pocket!) and I want my hands free. These have worked wonderfully, and calls have been easy and clear even with just one earbud in, while in the prairie wind, while trucks drive by on the road, etc. I can use my normal speaking voice and it still comes out clear and the person on the other end (as far as I've heard so far) also doesn't receive any wind noise or muffling or anything. I've been pleasantly surprised! They've also been working for me for podcasts and music, but I'm not an "audio phile" or anything so take that with a grain of salt. Occasionally, I won't be able to hear them over loud noises, but that's kinda expected, I think. Even when that happens, I could turn them up louder but would prefer not to just to preserve my hearing. I still have to remind myself how to put them in every time I use them, but that might get more intuitive as I use them (first "over ear" kinda earbud I've had)? The button location similarly takes me a moment to find sometimes, but the start/stop/skip/hangup controls feel easy to understand and I use them without thinking most of the time. They don't fit under my 3M ear protection/ear muffs, but a bigger muff might work with them; it's close. I wear them with a wide brimmed hat with a chin string (neck strap? adjustment loop?), and haven't had any issues with them falling or getting tugged off yet. At first, I felt like they were going to fall off or come lose, but they haven't and I feel more confident and comfortable with them as time goes on. People say they're heavier and can be uncomfortable when compared to the non-pros, but I haven't experienced that and actually used to have discomfort from my in ear earbuds; I'm sure it depends a lot on your ear shape and size and stuff, however. Battery life is great, case is nicely sized (similar to or smaller than a small wallet), I don't know how easy they'll be to clean or how dirty they'll get, not being in ear? I would love a shokz waterproof case for the charging case, though! Like a phone case with charging port protectors or whatever. Something with a keyring hole maybe? The case is very sleek and there's nothing wrong with it, but I work outside with pressure washers and would love keeping it in my pocket without worrying it'll get too wet or that the hinge will warp if I lean on something. Before purchasing, I spent a lot of time researching and reading reviews online and on Reddit and stuff so I'm trying to remember what other questions I've had or seem. . . I don't think noise cancelling works with just one earbud in (which is how I usually use them), and I've only tried it once with two as a test so I'm not too sure about that. Oh, Bluetooth seems to work great, when I take either side or both out they automatically connect to my phone and I haven't had any issues or had to open my phone settings to change that. They don't start playing until they're actually on your ear and they automatically pause if you take them off (wow! Some fancy gyroscope stuff happening in there or something??). I haven't had any issues with them connecting while in the case or not "nesting" correctly to charge or anything, but again. . . It's only been a couple weeks. I also haven't tried connecting to multiple devices at the same time with them. Overall, I will likely recommend these to people in my life! They're expensive but seem to be so for good reason, and baring an unexpected issue or damage to the case or something, I hope to use these for many years.

Other than using them on airplanes, which was a primary purpose of purchasing them, the sound quality is too low to work effectively. Bummer as many of the reviews that I read indicated that they worked well on airplanes. This is my second pair of Shoz and unfortunately, I will have to purchase a competitor brand for use when I travel via planes.

I really like the connection and the quality. The sound is pretty mid and the comfort could be much better. So the active noise blocking works well but there are different strange issues that happen sometimes with it. Torn I want to love them but so far it's a mixed bag. Great for podcast, mid for music shows and movies pretty good.
