Take the Guesswork Out of Brushing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this toothbrush to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The toothbrush design is sleek and modern, and the toothbrush comes complete with a charging stand. Charging can take quite some time, but likely the brush was ready to use out to the box and did not require a full charge in order to use. The battery also lasts for a few weeks between charges. The brush comes with several features to remove the guesswork and lead to more consistent brushing. My favorite feature is the BrushPacer feature, where the brush indicates when you’ve spent 20 seconds brushing an area of your teeth and it is time to move to a new area. This continues 6 times for a total of 2 minutes, and the brush then turns off, eliminating the need to time yourself. The brush also notifies you if you are using too much pressure and flashes a purple light at the bottom of the brush so you can make adjustments. Because I had previously only used a manual brush, using an electric toothbrush felt a bit foreign to me. Luckily, the guidance from the built-in features had me up and running in no time. My teeth definitely felt cleaner after just 2 uses.

I like this alot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Moving from a manual brush to this is life changing. My mouth hasn’t felt this clean since my last visit to the dentist. Let’s take a moment to appreciate the sleek design and how nice it looks on my bathroom vanity. If you are going to leave a toothbrush out on display it should look like this one - simple and understated in a neutral color. This is easy to use, clear settings options, and does a phenomenal job giving you the fresh from the dentist clean feeling- every time. My favorite feature is that something that works so well can be so elegantly designed. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending me item to test.

Great toothbrush

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this toothbrush through the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for an honest review. I will be buying some at full price for my family members! It comes with a travel case, which is handy, and it has a separate brush head cover to keep it tidy in your bathroom cupboard. The charging base is also included, of course, and the brush has a pretty/cool charging indicator light. The BEST thing about this brush is how adjustable it is. There are 3 modes, plus 3 intensity settings for each mode! If you set it on the lowest intensity in "sensitive" mode, it is gentle enough for a child (6+), in my opinion.

First Electric Toothbrush That Won Me Over

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This was my first time trying an electric toothbrush and I don’t think I’ll go back to a manual one. The Sonicare 6000 is very sleek and feels solid. I like that it charges instead of needing batteries. My teeth feel smoother after brushing and my mouth stays fresh longer. It’s a lot easier than a manual brush since the work is mostly done for you. There was a learning curve though and it took me a couple days to get the hang of it and to stop flinging toothpaste around. I also had to keep reminding myself to press the off button when removing it from my mouth to avoid messes. The best part is how clean my teeth feel without me having to scrub hard. I would recommend the Sonicare 6000 to anyone looking to try a electric toothbrush that makes your oral care routine much better!

I wanted to love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a fairly recent convert to the electric toothbrush trend, but at the recommendation of my dentist have been using a rechargeable toothbrush for about 18 months. I’ve been curious about the Philips Sonicare 6000 Rechargeable Toothbrush, since it seems slightly more streamlined than my current brand, and was excited to test one after receiving it as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. First of all, the packaging of the Sonicare 6000 is definitely superior to other brands. Everything came neatly packaged and individually wrapped, which prevented cardboard dust (and honestly who knows what else) from accumulating on the toothbrush handle during shipment. The 6000 arrived with one toothbrush head and a charging base, plus a helpful instruction manual, and came fully charged! Always a nice bonus when you’re excited to try a new product for the first time. The Sonicare 6000 is easy to use and ergonomically designed. It features various bells and whistles, like a sensitivity light that tells you when you’re pressing too hard, and several “modes” of cleaning to accommodate for sensitive teeth and gums. The toothbrush head itself is quite small in comparison to other brands, and it is surprisingly easy to reach all my back teeth! I appreciated that the toothbrush bristles are very soft and specifically designated “gentle,” as I intentionally seek out softer bristles to avoid damaging my enamel. As far as ease of use, the toothbrush does well; the head pops on and off easily, so cleaning is quite efficient. Charging seems simple (I charge mine overnight when needed) and I haven’t had any issues with short battery life so far. In terms of cleaning, I think the Sonicare 6000 is a step up from a manual toothbrush, but not as effective as other brands currently on the market. I personally think an oscillating brush that manually moves the bristles against your teeth and gums is going to clean plaque more effectively than a toothbrush that only vibrates—even if it also redirects water between your teeth, as the Sonicare claims to (PS: you can’t have this toothbrush on and not in your mouth—water and toothpaste will go EVERYwhere). I didn’t find that I had a particularly “clean” feel in my mouth after using the Sonicare 6000. In fact, it felt much like using a manual toothbrush to me. I really wanted to like this product, particularly since it does such a great job of getting to hard-to-reach teeth. I think that if you’re accustomed to using a manual toothbrush, the Sonicare 6000 is going to feel like a spa trip! But if you currently or formerly use an oscillating brush, this one might be a bit of a disappointment.

Perfect for sensitive teeth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this toothbrush. I’ve been looking for a replacement for my electric toothbrush for a while, and wasn’t sure where to start. I received this toothbrush as part of the Stellar product testing panel, and I’m so grateful for it. I have sensitive teeth and gum recession and need a toothbrush where I can control the speed and it has a soft enough head to not aggravate my mouth. This toothbrush was extremely gentle yet got my mouth very clean. Even my dentist made a comment about how clean my teeth were. I like that there’s different functions for whitening as well as cleaning. I also like how it looks and is very aesthetically pleasing on my countertop.
