We've owned several Sonicare over the years and when the opportunity came up to receive one from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. At first, when we received the product, I wasn't sure if it would have all the capabilities we were interested in because it seemed almost simpler than others we've owned. But honestly it's been great for functionality. So much better than a manual one and just as good or better than other electric ones we've owned. The gum care of it is great which is always a concern for toothbrushes for me. The intensity for the power is adjustable and has settings that were perfect for the level I like. My teeth always feel so clean after. The battery life of it is really nice too. We received it in a black color which was a fun change from the white we've usually bought too. I like the black for easily being able to see when it's dirty and needs cleaned.

I liked the style of this toothbrush because it fit in on my counter without looking out of place and was nice and compact. My teeth and gums felt wonderful after brushing. It left my mouth fresh and clean. It was very gentle and brushed all my plaque away. It buzzed when I pressed to hard and when it was time to change spots. However when switching from top to bottom I felt I needed to turn the brush off otherwise toothpaste sprinkled out of my mouth. This brush was smaller than I was used to. I would ahve given it 5 stars but the brush head was a bit small and also I would have loved a tongue brush on thr back. My other brushes always have that and the brush head wasnt able to brush my tongue. Although I do understand thats not the function of this tooth brush it would have been nice. What I liked most about this toothbrush was that it really scrubbed away at thr plaque near my gumline. I didnt have to floss so much. It stays charged for a long time and it cleans my teeth well. It buzzes to help tell you when to change "sections" to get the best brush in the cycle. My teeth always feel clean after using it and my gums (which are on the sensitive side) don't hurt at all. The only thing I don't love is that the brush head is small and not really strong enough to clean my tongue, so I'm using a scraper to make sure it feels clean, too. Overall, great product!

The toothbrush offers two modes: one for plaque removal and the other for sensitive teeth and gums. As someone who has dealt with tooth sensitivity and gum recession for years, the sensitive mode is a perfect choice for me. It effectively cleans my mouth while being gentle on my gums. Using a manual toothbrush will never compare to the clean feeling you get after using the Sonicare toothbrush. The battery life is impressive, lasting about 21 days when brushing twice daily, and it charges quickly. I also like the pressure sensor feedback feature, which gives immediate feedback if I’m brushing too hard, helping me protect my gums. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having been a life-long manual tooth brusher, I was interested seeing what the electric toothbrush hype was all about. After about a minute of reviewing the instructions included with the Sonicare 6000, the brushing process seemed fairly straight forward. There was definitely a learning curve the first time or two while I adapted my technique, but after that I was hooked. The built-in timer initially seemed like a gimmick to me, but after a couple uses became a great way to track how thoroughly I was brushing my teeth, ensuring I was giving equal time and effort to each section of my mouth. The adjustable power options have been great as well; I had to start on the lowest power setting while I adapted from my manual brushing habits, but by day three of using the toothbrush I was up to full power, with my teeth feeling as clean as they ever have. I really enjoyed how the toothbrush alerts you when you are applying too much pressure as well, as that was something I was prone to doing at first. Letting the brush do the majority of the work took some adapting for me, but has been a welcome change since the brush does much better than I ever could. The design of the brush is very comfortable, and the charging base is well thought out as well. It's hard to think of any improvements that can be made in the shape and feel of this device. I would have liked to have seen a wall charger included for "permanent" docking, but that is a very minor complaint as most people have many on hand already. The small brush head allows excellent access into the difficult to reach areas in my mouth, and the spaces between my teeth in particular feel much more clean than with a conventional tooth brush. I have battled sensitive gums fairly consistently, and that has been greatly improved since switching to this toothbrush. Overall, I am very impressed with the Philips Sonicare 6000 Rechargeable Toothbrush, and I cannot recommend it enough for someone looking to take their dental care routine to the next level. I’ve always had sensitive gums, but only right around my upper canines. Everywhere else is fine, but the gums there will bleed at the slightest provocation. I love my other sonic toothbrush, just an older model, for how clean my teeth and mouth feel. I’d just gotten used to no matter how gently I brushed a little bit of pink when I rinsed. I have none of that with this toothbrush. Thoughtful upgrades that really made me notice the differences between this and my two year old model, and so gentle that I think those gums are finally starting to recover some strength. No more bleeding! I’m so thrilled and would highly recommend this to literally anyone who has sensitivity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After receiving the Sonicare 6000 rechargeable toothbrush from Stellar Panel and using it for about 5 days, I will have to say I am pleasantly surprised! I have never used an electric toothbrush, and never really thought the benefits of it vs a regular toothbrush were that different. However, I have found several benefits to this electric toothbrush: - its rechargeable, so no need to remember to get batteries when it dies - it keeps time of how long you brush so you don't underbrush. It has a 2 minute timer that shuts the toothbrush off at 2 minutes, so you brush the recommended amount of time each time - it warns you when you are applying too much pressure. As someone who has been known to take my stress out on my teeth while brushing, this toothbrush will pulse vibrate when you start applying too much pressure. My teeth and gums truly appreciate it. - I do feel like my teeth are cleaner when I am finished. The way the head vibrates, it feels like it breaks up more of the food and plaque that builds up and gets rid of it. Although I actually had to take a few minutes at the beginning to read the manual to make sure I use it correctly and understand the pulses and vibrations, overall I really enjoy the toothbrush. I use less toothpaste than normal since the toothbrush head is so much smaller, so that saves me money. And my teeth feel less sensitive to foods since I am not pressing as hard when I brush. If things continue as well as they have started, I may have finally converted to being an electric toothbrush user.
